Emissivity Mode: For increased accuracy, easily change the emissivity from 0.1–1.0 by holding the Up and Down buttons. For normal household use, we recommend using 0.95 emissivity.
Versatile Uses: With a distance-to-spot ratio of 12:1, you can accurately perform tasks such as cooking, grilling, checking your AC and wall vents, finding hot/cold spots, repairing cars, measuring your pet bed’s temperature, and more.
Convenient Features: Just pull the trigger to see precise results in less than 0.5 seconds. The reading will be locked after releasing the trigger. Your results remain on the display for 15 seconds before the infrared thermometer automatically turns off.
Do Not Use on Humans: The Lasergrip is intended for use on inanimate objects only. When measuring, be careful that avoid the laser directly shooting into the eyes or skin.

Runs well, spot is bang on, and reads temperature of surfaces by aiming it. Easy to use, and came as advertised and with decent instructional sheet. Very easy to operate. Recommended!

Quick, accurate readings
This thermometer works quickly and accurately. The display is easy to see. I use it for many uses from automotive to checking the temp in my pizza oven.
I bought this thermometer to replace an old one that had died after many years hard use in my kitchen.Compared to its predecessor, this one is faster, fits in the hand better, and seems better constructed. The shape and materials in the grip make it easy to hold – doesn’t slip when my hand is wet or even greasy. I love using the thermometer to check the temp of frying pans, baking dishes and so forth, which helps me to cook better and more consistently. It’s also handy for many uses around the house.One feature I absolutely love – it uses AAA batteries, where previous infrared laser thermometers I’ve had were all 9 volt batteries. When those 9 volts died, we rarely has spares on hand. We use rechargeable batteries for many other items, so we always have freshly charged AAA batteries available. (Of course, regular AAA batteries work just fine, too.)This is a fine, inexpensive, handy infrared thermometer. I highly recommend it.

Judge me however you want but, you can take the technician out of the shop but not the shop out of the technician. I use this on cars, on people and when I need to see if the water is too hot for yeast. It give great readings, quick readings, the batteries last what feels forever and the quality is great and easy to clean. Itâs easy to read and no matter what I use it for, I donât worry about whether the readings are bad.
I purchased this thermometer to measure the water temperature of my cold plunge (bathtub). The first photo shows the comparison with a thermometer that was a submersible sensor, which was more accurate because it isnât just measuring the surface temp. It seems to be really handy if you are measuring surface temps. I even make the adjustment to measure water but it doesnât seem very accurate. I will likely return it. Thanks!
