Very expensive for what it is
My kid has of late been VERY into opening and closing the dresser drawers in his room and he was set to pinch his fingers repeatedly until I got these. There are a lot of products to stop door pinching but it was hard to find ones for drawers, at least ones that don’t require any real kind of installation. These do the trick. We put two above each drawer he can open and once he pulls a drawer out it won’t close again enough to pinch him. He can lift one back up but he can’t do two! These could not be simpler and more effective.
These are so so Great. The best baby proofing product we have gotten. I was nearly having a heart attack that my son was going to cut his finger off on our drawers getting to the toys inside. If the manufacture sees this, the only thing that could make them better is if there was a spring that allowed the mechanism to close without relying on gravity, and then i could use them sideways too on the doors to the left and right of the drawers.
I mean the product does work for the ones that actually stay stuck. But half of them either fell right off or start to peel off after a while. That being said they do work from keeping little fingers from being stuck. We have these on the drawers and cabinets that we allow our baby to play in, the others have actual locks. These are not for locking just for spacing. We also have them placed on door frames so when baby is playing with an open door it doesnât close on their little fingers. Iâd buy them again but the stickiness definitely needs improvement.
Thought these would work out. Bummed that when a toddler or an adult for that matter closes the drawer, they pop off. The adhesive strip is not a strong enough hold. Waste of $.
