Love how easy this food mill makes it to strain raspberry seeds from pulp for making jam! Last year I had to scrape & scrape with a fine mesh strainer to get the seeds out for my jam. Took forever! This year, the food mill made it very quick & effortless. Just turn the crank around & around & it scrapes the seeds right out! So much quicker & easier! Very sturdy metal, comes with several sizes of blades, goes right into the dishwasher for easy clean up! Great value for $. Next will try on making mashed potatos! Would recommend & buy again, but looks like it will last a long time!

Purchased to mill berries…. blackberry and cherry, specifically, and I have really been pleased with the results. As importantly, I have been impressed with the product material quality… sturdy stainless steel all around. Easy to put together, easy to clean, easy to use with a variety of bowl/pot sizes. When comparing before purchase, I was originally wanting the old fashioned Foley mill. However, upon researching I felt that I wanted the variety of the 3 different mill sizing and the Foley only offered the ‘fixed’ mill.I really don’t have anything negative to offer… it does the intended job as precisely as I have ever witnessed.
It worked better for making applesauce than any other Food Mill I have ever used. No need to peel or core apples. Just quarter them and and cook them. They go through the mill quickly. I found the mid sized milling disc to do the best for me. The disc with larger holes let the seeds go through. I did not try the disc with the smallest holes. Very well built. Easy to assemble and easy to disassemble and easy to clean. I highly recommend this food mill.
Totally worth the price. as making the job of making Sauces, so much easier.
