My Dog Really Loves It!
I got this plush pheasant toy for my 4-year-old Shiba, and she fell in love with it right away. Even before I removed the tags, she was nuzzling and pawing at it. The materials feel solid, the design is really cute, and the crinkle paper in the wings adds an extra layer of fun that keeps him interested longer. The squeaker is just loud enough to catch her attention without driving me crazy. The pheasant shape and varied textures really bring out her playful, âhunterâ side. So far, itâs held up pretty wellâIâd definitely recommend this toy!

The crinkly wings and strong squeaky inside are fun for play but the soft body makes this pheasant the perfect snuggle toy for my Boston Terrier
Dead Squeeker
The toy came with a crushed squeaker which barely made a noise. A few bites later and it didn’t squeak at all. The puppy (Corgi) made holes in it right away. I had a similar toy before and it lasted 4 years (Labrador). I’ve had this a month.

This is a nice toy. It actually looks like a duck, the wings are making that kind of crunchy noise, and when you squeeze it it does make a sound that resemble a duck.As far as durable goes, well, it took a few minutes of playing with it and my dog started to pull it apart, not even to get the plastic that does the duck sound out, but just peeling the hairs apart from it where textures changes. So I advise you supervise the interactions your dog has with this toy. Only one of my dogs actually played with it, and he was very gentle compared to how he usually plays, and even then this was ripped really fast. (a few days, but with only a few minutes of play time… for some reason, he carried it around and cuddle with it a few days before actually playing with it)You’d expect a 30$+ toy to be way stronger than this. For the same price you can buy other toys that will last way longer.So, overall, nice, but way too pricey for it’s durability. Maybe it’s a good choice if you have a small dog, I can’t say, mine are 60 and 70lbs.
Awesome Duck Toy But A Bit Pricey
This is an awesome plush Duck Toy if you can afford it.This FukuPets plush duck is marketed as an ‘Interactive’ dog toy. I’m not certain exactly what they mean by the term ‘Interactive’. It’s not motorized, It cannot fly or move without human assistance. Aren’t All Dog Toys ‘Interactive” ?I would use the term ‘Deluxe’ or perhaps ‘Premium’ to better describe this dog toy than ‘Interactive’. What makes it Premium other than the price? Well two things …1 – Large Size: This plush duck is larger in size than the regular duck you are used to buying in the pet store for around $15-$20 dollars. It’s similar in length but larger is girth. The squeaker/honker inside is also two tone. It makes one sound when squeezed normally and a different sound if you squeeze it hard and quickly.2 – Crinkle Wings: The regular plush duck toys have soft, infilled wings. This FukuPets duck wings are semi rigid. The wings are filled with a plastic crinkle material that makes a sound when moved or compressed.â¢â¢â¢Who’s this Duck For ? â¢â¢â¢This duck is for medium to larger sized dogs. We have an 18lb cockapoo and this duck is almost too large for her. Initially she was scared of it but after she got used to the size and noises it makes she warmed up to it and now likes playing with it. The larger body is more difficult for her to pick up and carry in her mouth but she does manage to pick it up and carry it, although it’s a bit awkward for her. Medium sized dogs and larger breeds 20-80 lbs would love this duck. This is a great plush toy for hunting dogs.Overall I like this FukuPet’s duck. It’s well made but at $40 a bit pricey and definitely on the higher end of the cost spectrum. It your dog is hard on toys $40 might be too pricey if the toy only lasts a few hours, days or weeks. Luckily our dog is not too aggressive with her toys so we generally get months or even a year out of some of her chewies.This is a good quality toy, The crinkle material in the wings is a nice twist and definitely sparks intrigue and interest. If you’ve got a hunting dog … Highly Recommend. If you’re looking for something different for your dog to play with this winter … this might be the toy for you.I would recommend it but probably would not order it again for our ‘smaller dog’ the size is borderline too big for our dog and the $40 price is more than we usually pay for dog toys.
