Bought two of these for my kids reading nook. They work perfectly for lounging and seem pretty sturdy. We even used them for an indoor camp out to sleep on. The cover is a giant PITA to remove to wash with a ton of tied ribbons… BUT it did wash up fine.
Love the idea of this, the execution sucked. Expensive lesson to learn – $70 down the tubes. The cover is not really removable for washing because it is tacked down on each button used for the “tufting?” & the foam underneath starts breaking off in chunks as soon as you unzip it. My pre-teen, average-sized girl leaned back (not wildly or aggressively or anything crazy) on it after about a week & a half of use to play her videogames and the “hinges?” gave out & snapped. No way to replace or fix them & the frame/what gives the chair is shape is not solid & is actually just a rectangle outline of some zip-tie type plastic connected by the 2 metal hinges. Comfort was great while it lasted, sturdiness & value for $$$ was garbage.
The back of the chair no longer holds in any position. It was a great chair but not worth the money for the lack of durability.
Exceeded my expectations! The teal blue color is beautiful! Not bright a bright blue, exactly what I wanted. And the material seems sturdy. Very happy with my purchase!
