These little magnetic blocks are pretty cool. I’m a big fan of anything magnetic, it just has that magical quality of working without you being able to see why they’re sticking together. They also make putting things together easier for little hands, making them feel more accomplished and less frustrated.My kids are too young (5 and 2) to be into Minecraft, but they still enjoyed building structures like towers and waterfalls for the dinosaur blocks to play on. Luckily my two year old is over his putting everything in his mouth phase, but these could be a chocking hazard so this is something that probably should only used with adult supervision if you’re at all worried.
These blocks are great for my 3 year old. He always wants to playy with his sisters legos but isnt quite old enough for them. These magnetic blocks give him a similar building experience without the danger of the really small lego pieces. The dinosaur themed print was a big hot with him as well as je really enjoys dinosaurs at the moment. The only downside with them is that the magnets arent super strong so you can build some of the overhanging types of things that you normally could with legos, but thats a minor sacrifice.
This is the second product I have gotten from this company, and again, I am impressed. This one comes with 24 diverse patterns, including dinosaurs, a lava cascade, animals, and plants, making it fun and entertaining for my little niece. I can teach her a little about volcanoes and what causes them, and a little about dinosaurs also. My niece love arranging the pieces to create different prehistoric scenes, and it has definitely sparked their creativity! Her little sister, who is two years old, also likes to try and get involved but I do worry a little about the choking hazard potential at her age, so I keep a close eye when she is around.What I love most about this set is how it blends education with fun. It introduces her to nature, animals, and even some basic science concepts through play as I mentioned earlier. The vibrant, colorful graphics are lively and fun, making it visually appealing while keeping her entertained for hours. She enjoys matching up the patterns and inventing their own stories about the dinosaurs and their environments.Another great feature is its compatibility with other block sets. As I mentioned, I already have a set by this same company, and another similar set from another company. These magnetic blocks easily integrate with other brands we already have at home, so we can extend their building and storytelling experiences beyond just dinosaurs. This versatility makes it a great addition to any toy collection.However, as I previously mentioned, itâs definitely a toy for kids 3 and up. The pieces are small, so younger children should be supervised closely, or better yet, wait until theyâre old enough. Since my niece has a younger sister who is only 2, we try and use these when she is napping, or otherwise we move on to other toys.While the magnets are strong enough to hold basic structures together, I would have liked them to be a bit stronger to add more functionality and sturdiness to the cubes. The designs stay in place for the most part, but sometimes the pieces shift slightly when being handled. Still, itâs not a deal-breaker, and I wouldnât dock a star for this.All in all, the Magnetic Blocks Dinosaur Toys set is a fantastic and educational toy that encourages kids to learn while having fun. With its lively graphics, compatibility with other blocks, and ability to inspire creativity, itâs a wonderful addition to my niece’s toy box. Despite wishing the magnets were a touch stronger, I would highly recommend these for kids aged 3 and up!

My boys (3 and 8) love these and play with them all the time. They are small enough that they don’t take up tons of space either. I have 2 different sets like this, as I feel like one set just isn’t enough. My 8yr old likes that they are Minecraft themed and reminds him of the game.One thing that I really like about these, is that you don’t have to just stack them exactly on top of each other for the magnets to work…you can offset one on top of another and it will still hold. ie. you can build a staircase structure or two blocks side by side on top of one block and have the magnets hold just as strong. That is a really great feature.The designs on the squares are also part of the plastic, so there is no peeling off the design or fading from use.Pretty sturdy plastic as well.Hurts like a son of a gun when you step on them too!Great!
