  1. Click buy now! No regrets 👏🏻
We bought this stroller for a 3 week trip across Europe with our 4 month old and it was easily the best decision we made. The stroller is easy to use (folding in and out of car seat mode is a simple button). It was comfortable for our little guy and the extra long canopy was perfect for added shade in the heat (40 degrees Celsius!). The car seat without the base was not heavy to maneuver (light enough to pick up in and out of a car with a 13 lbs baby in it). The suspensions on the stroller over cobble stones was not as good as our Uppababy Cruz stroller but given the compact size – totally up to par. 100% would recommend for any travelling with babies under 6 months.

  2. I haven’t had my baby yet, but I received this and immediately opened it to check it out. It is beautiful! I used a doona with my last baby and looovved it so much. It is different from the doona in that there is only one lever that does everything – puts wheels up and down. This one I had to read the instructions a few times before I got the hang of putting it up and down – and I have some complaints right off the bat.1. To put the wheels down you have to lift the whole thing off the ground at the same time tipping it so the wheels fold. My back was killing by the time I figured it out. (Granted I’m 8 months pregnant) but once there’s a baby in there it will be even heavier and I’ll be postpartum so not very weak person friendly. 2. Also, the lever to get the wheels down kept pinching my hand – hard to explain unless you use it in person, but the clearance wasn’t big enough to grip the lever without scraping/pinching my hand against the carseat back. Whereas with the doona, it was easy -pull the lever, brace against your foot and rainbow it over. Which I definitely prefer.3. To unattach from car base, the top lever releases the wheels from the car seat. You have to use the smaller (hand pinching) and harder to reach lever to get carseat + wheels out. In my opinion they should be switched to have the easier lever release the entire car seat with the wheels attached -because we got this car seat for the wheels! I’m sure I will want the wheels attached 9 times out of 10 that I get the carseat out of the car-so the easier lever should let me do that.I’m not sure if I will keep it because these things are pretty major in my opinion, I wish I could compare the newest doona.Everything else is wonderful about this car seat: it’s beautiful, The carryall storage and cup holders will be awesome, I LOVE the height of the handle and I wonder if I could overlook the lever issues if I hadn’t used a doona in the past.

  3. I love this though mine did stick from the start. They wouldnt give replacement. We use ours every day still, I will say though that the brown part of the handle flakes off after some time and it didnt take long and I didn’t see a way to get a replacement for that. If you have a heavy baby, it is hard to get it in and out especially if you have a truck like I do because it’s kinda heavy all by itself. I did love that u can separate from stroller though.

  4. I bought this for my grandson while he was visiting. My daughter liked it so much she is taking it home. It is really convenient, looks better than the other similar stroller and is pretty easy to put up and down. Getting the wheels to collapse is a little awkward and getting it in my car is not as simple as normal car seats but it really is convenient.

  5. I wanted so badly to love this! I had used a borrowed Doona seat for a month before purchasing the Shyft. I really liked the Doona, and saw the Shyft looked to have even more features to improve on the Doona. Unfortunately, I could tell as soon as I pulled the Shyft out of the box that is just isn’t the same quality. Since these are currently the only two comparable combo car seat/stroller options, these are my pro/cons for these two seats.Shyft Pros:Removable wheels from seatCompatible with other carseat/stroller combos when you need a more robust strollerWheel wells on base to keep car cleanerLOVE the pull tab style LATCH releaseNo rethread harnessFits both taller and smaller infantsSafer carseat positioning when uninstalled – ability to rock back into more reclined positionIncludes cupholder and storage basket in gold versionMore plush seat, baby sits more reclined and looks more comfortableShyft Cons:Wobbly and excessive sway when pushing in stroller mode, whole thing feels loose and unsecureLoud squeaking when raising/lowering handleLess smooth operation for opening/closing the wheelsSmaller wheels with lower quality treads, Doona has solid rubber wheels vs Shyft solid foam wheelsTwo separate brake locks, harder to unlock particularly in sandals as you need to lift them upOverall this is a great concept still and has some great features. But, I’ll be returning this the same day I got it here, and buying the Doona instead.

  6. Gifted for my new grandson and the parents love the functionality and convenience of the car seat/ stroller.
