Super convenient but not very versatile as a stroller
Purchased the Gold model for $600 around black friday 2023. I’ve watched the price fluctuate quite a bit but it seems the Gold hovers between $600 and $999. You can get the all black base model for $499.Love this little stroller for coming and going from stores or my parents’ condo building in the city. Also made for a handy sit-with-us-at-the-dinner-table spot for baby during the early weeks and out at restaurants. Perfect table height. With that said, we live in the countryside so we have a baby jogger for going on walks and I now prefer using it for walks in the city because this stroller isn’t remotely smooth on the average sidewalk. We bought it thinking we would be taking it with us to visit family in the UK at 6 months old but our baby is already 18lbs at 4 months and with the stroller/seat weighing about 18-20lbs, I’m not sure we’ll bother bringing it because it’ll be too heavy to lift in and out of the rental car.If I could go back and buy this stroller again, I would but I’d probably buy the cheapest base model. The features of the Gold model are an attachable bag and cupholder (that have to come off to load into the car), a leather handle and an additional lifetime warrantee for post-accident replacement. These things are nice to have but I really don’t need them. I also find the all black look of the base model looks more sleek than the Gold model.

Customers support is not helpful.
I love the concept of this stroller. It worked well for a few months and then started collapsing into car seat mode while pushing. It also stopped folding properly and gets stuck in the car, so I have to take the baby out of the car seat to correct it. I spoke with customer service and sent them videos of the problem. They keep saying they will get back to me but never do. It has been more than a month. I have always loved Evenflo products. I work with young parents and recommend the brand often. However, I will no longer be able to do so if they will not back their product parts when they malfunctions. Especially considering this car seat is a safety device. I have multiple people approach me weekly to ask about this stroller and am pained that I can no longer recommend it, as it’s such a convenient concept. Their new Gold line is supposed the have lifetime warranty, but that means nothing if you do not handle claims in reasonable time. Customers will need to purchase alternative products in the mean time. Maybe in a few years they will have worked out the kinks.

This thing is a godsend. Not only does the handle come up taller than the doona so it reaches a comfortable height for my 6’1” husband, but you’re able to take the wheels off of it! So if we are going somewhere we will be walking a lot we take it out with the wheels attached but if we are going into a restaurant or from the car to the house we take it out without the wheels. The one small downside I will say is that the app will sometimes notify us that we left the baby in the car even though I’m like sitting on my couch feeding said baby. It only does this after we take a trip somewhere but it does it for like 15 minutes straight and drives me crazy. But I guess at least it’s trying to be safe.

This is the most practical carseat/stroller system I’ve ever had. It is a bit tricky to maneuver. Once you work out all the kinks it’s great! Give it grace for growing pains you will soon love it!
