Easy on the eyes
Elegant design and the light sensor actually works, turning the light off in daylight. Maybe a bit unnecessarily bright, but the red tone is easy on the eyes in the middle of the night.Impressed enough to have ordered a second package (not yet delivered).
Very impressive product with excellent delivery service
I started using one of these little red lights in our washroom and it did a great job of providing a level of light that did not break my sleep cycle for the first time in a long time. Highly recommended for anyone who makes trips to the washroom in the middle of the night and has a hard time falling asleep again afterwards. A nice little unit at a very good price.
Useful but expensive
Expensive for a night light but red light is useful
Good product
Works perfectly
Nice
Got this night light for our toddler who was having trouble getting to sleep. It isn’t too bright and the red tint makes it so it doesn’t keep her up.
red nite-lights
they are a bit brighter than I would have preferred, and they turn on at a higher ambient light level than I would have preferred – but otherwise exactly as advertised.
these are good but not as bright as I was expecting
these are good but not as bright as I was expecting. I wanted something bright enough to light the bathroom to eliminate the need to turn on the light in the middle of the night but this isn’t quite bright enough for that
Simple and Effective
Simple Nightlight. Itâs not too obtrusive and is an LED with diffuser and a light sensor to shut it off during the day. Overall itâs a simple circuit and I expect it to last a long time.I find that the light sensor is overly sensitive and the light is on when it needs to be. The body of the light is simple and unobtrusive, I would have liked it better if the logo wasnât on the front. The plug had some wiggle in the socket, it uses pins that are the same size, not a deal breaker.I went with the red light to create a darkroom effect, giving me just enough light to not trip over anything or shock my eyes turning on the bathroom light. Red light also doesnât hurt your night vision.
I bought some of these years ago and they are still working fine, so I recently ordered another two. They work well, but are a bit bright for a proper “night light”. While the light is a deep red (which is good for staying relaxed), after you adjust to darkness, these things will kind of blast your eyes. Ideally they would have some sort of brightness setting, but other than that, I still really like them.
It does what it is supposed to do. The brightness level of this light is exactly where it should to be. When you wake up at night and your eyes are adjusted to the dark it provides enough light so you can easily see where you are going. If your eyes are not adjusted to the dark, this does not provide enough light to see, but that is not what a night is for. The red color is great because it is the farthest away from blue light that triggers your brain to start waking you up.The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because it comes on too early. When the ambient light in the room is still way too high for this night light to be of any value there is no need for it to come on. As a result it ends up running too many hours per day.I put one a Kill-A-Watt meter for 27 days and calculated that it costs $1.37 per year to run it for a year based on $.092 per kilowatt energy cost in my area. Thatâs not very much, but it could be about half that amount if it didnât come on until the room was dark enough for it to do any good.Overall, I am happy with this product.
I bought the red. Not sure when I bought it, but Iâve had it for quite a while and it still works great. Iâve not even had to use the second one yet. Itâs just enough light to get me to the bathroom safely. Not too bright or harsh. Helps for going back to sleep.
This is so perfect. It lights our living room without being the glaring brightness of a white or amber light! Itâs great for getting to the kiddos room without crashing on toys and doesnât bug the sleep cycle with a stimulating color.
I was hoping it would be more of a glow (what it looks like in the picture), but it really brightens up the room. For me that’s a con, but for you that might be what you’re looking for ð¤·ââï¸
