I do have the traditional haakaa (bell flower shape), but was interested in this as I’ve often wanted to be more discrete when pumping. The suction on this is not as strong as the classic shape, so for me it’s more of a milk collector than a suction. I will say that the design and the thickness of the silicone is really nice. The little spout actually works really well for transferring it into a bottle and it’s easy to clean. For nursing mamas, this may be a good option to place on the breast your little one is not nursing from the catch any letdown.
Didnât really do anything
I tried my best to give this a chance, it would be nice if it worked well but I found it didnât suction enough to get milk out, I went back to the original haakaa
Great gift for expect mum
The Haakaa is perfect for collecting milk from my other side while nursing my newborn, and it doesnât get in the way if I need to multitask. I use my nursing bra to keep it in place, making it very discreet and out of the way. love the suction of this collector and shape to keep milk. It is great and love not having to have my milk go to just pads and can be stored and caught this way. Great present for an expected mum!
Great to have
This comes as described. It’s a good size, lightweight and works.The easy pour hole/plug us nice and makes puring this into a bottle very easy. Easy to clean and just easy to use. The size and weight make it very portable and easy to just take with you on the go.
Suction isnât Very Good
I absolutely love my manual haakaa collector so I thought I would give this one a try too. Unfortunately, I canât say I love it as much as my other one. Itâs quite finicky to get it to latch on properly. Once I got it to latch I covered it with my nursing bra. It stuck out quite a bit and is definitely noticeable when youâre wearing it. I wore it around the house while I cleaned to see how I liked it. I kept having to check to make sure it hadnât come off because it didnât feel very secure. The suction didnât feel as strong so I didnât seem to collect as much milk as I usually would with my other haakaa.I do like that itâs easy to wash and dry. Itâs also handy that when youâre done collecting the milk it has a little hole at the top that allows you to pour it out.
