My 5 year old daughter loves the design and it kept her warm on a chilly fall day. Had no issue with the zipper, and the hood almost seemed snug, but it was kind of nice because a lot of hoods fall off so easily- this one actually stayed up. $45 seems a bit much for this coat to me, but my daughter loves it and it keeps her warm.
I was looking forward to this, but am disappointed with the quality. First off, it truly is a soft lining and warm jacket. I can see it being useful for the below zero degree weather in the winter. However, this doesn’t have the extra lining protection at the bottom so it is not a ski jacket.Now, the faux fur on the hood is nothing like I expected from the photos. It is short and flat. There isn’t any volume so it will never look as full and as soft as in the promo photos. The stitching is also haphazard. The zipper area has a long stretch where the inner lining is clearly poking out and is not enclosed properly. Also, the pockets are not very deep.It is a cute print, though, and we will still use, but I would not get another one.
