Easy to use and quality customer service
We purchased this monitor 9 months ago. Hooked up easy, has great range and battery life. It worked flawlessly until this week when the parent unit would no longer charge or hold battery life. Customer service was prompt and eager to resolve the issue, which resulted in a full replacement. Extremely friendly and hassle free exchange with the customer service rep. Great product for the price and they stand by their warranty!
Less than a year & the charging port on the monitor wont work AGAIN!!!!
1) The connectivity has been poor since the beginning. Dropping signal frequently. Now the charging port on the monitor will not work. So its useless to me now! Id like to add its christmas day & I was attempting to have christmas dinner with my family. However since the monitor has died & will now charge! I am currently sitting on the floor in a dark room where my 1 year old is napping! IM PISSED OFF!!2) Bought it again &&& Guess what!?..LESS THAN A YEAR LATER & SAME EXACT DEFAULT!! Don’t waste your money!!
Fantastic!
Works great. The picture quality is perfect for my use, night and day vision is pretty clear and I have this set up 10 feet from the bed. The zoom function works well also. Love that this does not require Wi-Fi so it will be perfect for camping. The battery life blew me away, its about 30 hours before it is dead. Super loud volume, and I love that I can turn off the screen with one click on the power button and still hear what is happening. It does not have a find parent unit function so just make sure you know where you put it down if you travel around the house with it. Fantastic product for the price.
Pretty Good for Price
Overall I really like this monitor. It picks up baby’s noises easily and picture quality is okay. Good enough you can tell if baby is awake or not, not as clear as aome others I’ve seen on the market. It does not have 29 hours of battery life like advertised though, we have to recharge our unit every day so it will make it through a 10 hour night. I also love that it doesn’t use wifi!
Good Customer Warranty and Support
We opted for this product as it seemed to have great value for money and solid reviews. We have been largely satisfied with the device. PROs: decent signal range; easily covers a hundred feet around our house; good night vision quality; responsive camera movement; etc. We had an issue arise where the monitor would not charge unless the cable was firmly and continuously held in the port; however, HelloBaby honored the warranty and sent a complete replacement system within a week!! VERY SATISFIED with their honoring of the warranty. CONs: we were expecting better battery life (~8 hrs; perhaps longer in ECO mode) but were able to keep up with recharging between naps or leaving the monitor plugged in.
Exceptional product & customer service
I received one of these as a gift & it is excellent. I love that it has no wifi, has many functions & great video quality . First one ended up breaking (at my own fault) so I ordered one of my own. This one did not work properly, picture kept cutting out & showing no signal despite being in range & many attempts to adjust with no success. Didnât make sense seemed defective. Didnât feel safe relying on this device. Read other reviews stating same issue. Reached out to company & they responded promptly, very helpful . Offered full refund or replacement product. Once I stated I wanted replacement, they sent it & I had it in less than 3 days time. Exceptional product & customer service.
Does exactly what it needs to
For the price it’s definitely one to consider. Some things we liked:* wifi and phone app not used* monitor has long battery life* eco mode just shows video and audio after a certain noise threshold is met (customizable). This is good for us because our baby has a white noise machine on and it can be annoying to listen to* can be wall mounted* temperature monitor* intuitive menus* cheap

My oldest is 6 and weâve had infant optixs all along. We have 3 cameras. One has audio that quit working and weâve gone through 3 monitors!!! When this 3rd one broke, I refused to replace it with $$$ since the youngest is almost 3 now. I got Hello Baby for literally a quarter of the price and itâs SO MUCH BETTER!!! We have thick concrete walls and the kids rooms are far from ours. The signal works perfectly whereas the other used to need to be placed outside our door. I like the color. The picture is better. Very intuitive to use and, best feature if you have young kids, the antenna is stationary and canât get ripped off!! Great quality and wonderful price. So happy. I would never spend all the money on the other brands if I tried this first.

Have used camping (with 12v cable for receiver, and mini inverter for camera), awesome settings to be able to pan left/right and up/down.
Exactly what I was looking for.Many functionalities. I used it while traveling and it worked pretty well. Good screen, nice features to turn on/off the volume, being able to speak. Night view works no problem. Good price too. Customer support answered questions fast.Only one thing is inconvenient: the charging cables are not very common. If you loose them you wonât be able to find replacement easily. Would suggest the company to change for usb-c or micro usb which are much more common and easy to pack when travelling. Especially for the monitor which need to be charged only once in a while (the camera needs to be plugged in all the time).
