This is a great set for our children and us adults, this is actually our 2nd set, we originally purchased the jewel toned ones and they were also great. The cutlery is stronger than I was expecting and can be used by our kids or us adults. The only thing I am weary about is the pastel colors, so far so good, but I am wondering if they will stain with red pasta type dishes, they have not so far and we have used the set for a couple of weeks now on a regular basis. We put them in the dishwasher in the top rack and they are fine. Definitely recommend. Even for adults as snack or desert dishes or smaller meals – great if you want a bit of a smaller plate to cut down on how much food you are eating too. They will last a long time. We purchased our jewel toned ones approximately 7 years ago, and we are still using them. They can be used for outdoor play, bathtub play, pet dishes, etc. as they age and get older.

Good value and my kids love them.Pros:+ durable plastic+ fun colours+ wide mouth bowls+ lip on the plates is great+ the forks are actually pointy enough to pick up more than our stainless steel toddler forks+ microwave safe is fantasticCons:- my kids fight over the pink ones, not really a con just an observation for you parents that have kids with favourite coloursWe love these, they work great and as we expected. We have heavily used the bowls for microwaving and they have not melted like you see in some tupperware containers.

I bought this dinnerware set for a play kitchen in a playroom. My grandkids love to play with it. The colors are so pretty too. Good quality as well.
Awesome product, can find cheaper though
Love these!!! Great for the kids. Very thick, sturdy and easy to wash. Had them almost a year now and they still havenât gotten scrapes of dents or any other issues Iâve had with other childrenâs dish sets.However, you can get the same dishes from IKEA for a lot cheaper (bag of cutlery, bag of plates, bag of cups, bag of bowls for just a few bucks each)
Third set – love them!
My kids are 11-12-22-23 years old; this is the third set of IKEA dishes for kids in that time. They last long – but after 10 years, about time to update to new ones for when little kids come to visit.I really like the updated plates with a rim; the first plates we had 20 years ago were flower shaped, then the oval ones but neither had a rim. This keeps food on the plate and helps little ones scoop up food.Still the same great high quality after all these years – refreshing! Ikea has not skimped and decreased the quality of the product.
