My 7 and a half is 35 inches in height. The 9 to 10 fit her wonderfully. The top ties down to the bottoms via two strings in either side, this prevents the top from rising under water. My child loved the ease of having a two piece instead of a one piece bathing suit. It is especially helpful for quicker bathroom visits as the suit was easier to take off.
Really nice, but get a size larger
A really nice swimwear, fabric quality is good, but get a size up (one size up) unless your child is very petite.
Bad quality material
When purchased it seemed good but with every wash, it got faded and also the elasticity of material is lost and it is so shaggy. Its nearly double the size now compared to when purchased. Its just 2 months and I didnt expect this to happen. Waste of money.
