The headband test thing is only practical for older children (toddler age). I tried using it for my 9 month old (who does still have a big head) and the strap doesnât adjust small enough for it to be tight enough to serve its purpose. The side head rests are okay if youâre willing to take out the head piece that is already in most car seats. They are quite large and my son wasnât a huge fan of them.
Works as intended!
I was nervous about getting one of these as I know they are not recommended for safety reasons but my daughterâs head was always at the weirdest angles in the car so I thought this would help, and it did! Keeps her head nice and straight even when asleep. Happy with my purchase.
