Great but expensive
It looks like it came with the Ikea Antilop high chair but it’s more expensive than the chair itself. Still bought it because it’s an ergonomic footrest, and much better quality than the other ones out there.
Perfect ð¤©
Despite costing nearly as much as the high chair itself, this foot rest is perfect! Itâs designed really well, feels sturdy, and was super easy to put together and adjust the height. I love how easy it is to clean and how nice it looks!
Good quality for price !
This is a great footrest for the Antilop Ikea Chair. Once installed it is very sturdy and has not moved. We have had it for 4 months now and it is easy to clean and holding up great. This is also adjustable as baby grows.
Fantastic
Very pleased with this purchase. Itâs a well thought out design and makes the Ikea Antilop highchair more functional. Very easy to use. It is more expensive than the entire highchair itself but it really is worth it in my opinion.

I don’t usually write Amazon reviews but this foot rest deserves it. Amazing build quality, material, hardware, and even quality of the assembly instructions. It’s not easy being impressed on Amazon, of my 80+ random purchases over the years this tops the list.It fits perfectly. I was on the fence about getting the cheap wooden ones but trust me, this is worth every penny. Don’t take my word for it, save this one in your cart, and go read the reviews on the wooden ones.

I love that it matches the high chair so well. I do find it off-putting that the foot rest cost more than the high chair.

Great product, very easy to install and fits perfectly with the Ikea Antilop high chair. It also catches a lot of food!
Wrong parts
I received this item promptly after ordering, but I can’t use it because it was packaged with the wrong parts, making it impossible to attach to the chair. Now, I have to waste my time driving to Canada Post to return it. Although it looks good in the picture and seems to be of solid quality upon first inspection, I’m unsure if I should attempt ordering it again.
But the product is awesome once you get it on, which I eventually did. So ease of assembly I would say, not to easy but itâs very secure, it fits perfectly & is has great stability â

The design is brilliant! Easy to install yet very sturdy. This footrest is very wide, so I think itâs more comfortable and easy for my baby to put her feet on.My baby is on the smaller side, and the height is 100% adjustable, so IMO itâs better than other high chairs that already come with a footrest as I can set it exactly where my babyâs feet are. If you donât want to spend a fortune on a high chair, go with the Antilop and get one of these footrest!There are many narrower options in the market with more reviews, but I wasnât sure if my baby would actually be able to put her feet on the surface, so I decided to trust my gut and got this one that seemed very new with no customer review. I have to say that I am glad that I purchased it! The only negative I have would probably be that the installation instruction sheet is not very easy to understand if I hadnât watched the installation video, but Iâm also very bad at assembling things so it might just be me. 😛
This is a well-designed foot rest that I only wish the Antilop already came with! Itâs wide, sturdy, and keeps my childâs feet at a 90° angle. Before this one I had a plank-style footrest that I ordered from Etsy. It was only held up by O rings and didnât lay down at 90°, but got the job done till my sonâs legs got longer and there was no more room to adjust it. In its lowest position, the plank kept sliding off onto our cat sitting under the highchair! 🙁 This Ireka footrest is sooo much more thought out design-wise and therefore works. It securely stays on the high chair legs and is adjustable. Itâs completely flat, not tilted. Yes, it does take a little more time to install, but the video directions helped 100%. I wish I knew about this footrest first so I could have skipped the plank!
I wish we had bought this sooner! We’re on baby #3 with an ikea highchair d since we had almost every other baby thing you could possible need I decided to buy this. It is a perfect fit and makes the high chair so much more comfortable for our baby. Added boys: it catches the majority of the food he drops, at least thus far because he drops food in his lap instead of off the side. It’s easy to clean and easy to adjust. It’s also sturdy and doesn’t slide down unlike some of the other foot rest options out there that I’ve read about. I’m very very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone that has the ikea high chair!
