Easy to put together
UPDATE: Don’t put too many heavy books on the top shelf without making sure the bottoms are secure! Heavy near the bottom!! Mine just fell over this morning and I think on shelf may be broken but I havenât check yet. Still a good shelf as it took a while for this to happen, still recommendIt was easy to put together and the instructions were easy to read. While I had help (from my cat so does it really count??) I could easily do this solo and not have any issues. Sometimes the poles wouldnât go into the holes and it took a little force but other than that I will be buying again when I have more room
Small. Sharp. Not worth the trouble.
Putting it together is easier said than done. The biggest design flaw I encountered, is the instructions expecting the customer to soak the parts in warm water for an unknown amount of time beforehand. You might miss that part as itâs a pretty small note in the instructions.The instructions warn you about the metal being âsharpâ, however, itâs the hard plastic connectors that you should be mindful of. The underside has VERY SHARP points from manufacturing that were NOT filed down or rounded/melted off for safety. Gloves that are provided wonât protect you from getting hurt from this specific oversight.The shelving size is also much smaller. They arenât as modular as you think they would be, so you canât make your own configuration.The term âsturdyâ is misleading. Itâs thin fabric, slipped over metal bars. The fabric isnât tight enough to make up for the gaps between bars. Meaning smaller stuff can sink in and not lay flat.If youâre looking for a solid flat surface to place stuff on, this isnât it.Despite the dimensions shown and listed. The mock-ups themselves arenât to scale and are misleading. As a whole, what you are getting is much smaller.Definitely not worth the time or money.
Sturdy but hard to assemble
I do really like my shelf, but I found it very difficult to assemble and so they supply gloves that I would absolutely wear. Itâs kind of a vinyl plastic material. Itâs good for light storage like clothes and things, but I wouldnât put anything heavy on it.
Not great, not awful
I’m more or less in the middle on this item. I know the price was pretty cheap so I should not have been expecting top of the line stuff. But even at that this thing was a monster to put together. All the while when doing so you are thinking this thing won’t hold feathers. But all in all it’s not terrible. I know that’s kind of a hollow endorsment, but although I likely wouldn’t buy it again it’s doing the job so it’s good enough
Good
It was not as I expected. Quality is not the greatest. Lots of space to store things but i dont think it can handle too many books. It cannot take too much weight as the holder is a plastic fabric piece and the sewing is not that great.Its fairly easy to build up but Definiltely need a lot of patience as the pieces keep coming ofr every so often.You can use it to hold light weight items and toys. Once built up it looks great
Great for collage kids, temp dresser, kids toys?
I would upload a picture of it built, but I put it to use day one. Our house is undergoing major renovations ATM and most of our stuff is in storage. I needed somewhere to put my cloths in the meantime and thats where this product comes in. I was a little skeptical because … for the price and materials used, how sturdy could it be? Actually, im shocked on how well its built. Took all of 10 mins to assemble. Holds together well. Ive given this thing a beating and its still going strong. Even got 2 king sized blankets draped over it with all my cloths inside and it holds the weight just fine. Price VS quality…. A+
Cheap and not for heavy stuff
I thought it would look cute, but the poles all keep coming out, even with the books already on it! It’s wobbly and because it’s poles, nothing sits flat on the top, it sinks down in between the fabric on the poles.Really disappointed in the quality.
Not easy to assemble
This is such a great idea. If there were 3 people to assemble such a basic product that would be great. As only 1 person, every connection kept popping out going on the assembly directions. 3 hours and it still was not assembled properly. I gave up.
I purchased this shelf with the intent to use it for all kinds of different products from containers to electronics. Obviously, the product isn’t as sturdy as steel and wood, but I knew that before I purchased it!It took me less than an hour to set it up, and I was able to do so on my own. The instructions provided were straightforward and incredibly simple, but I didn’t need them. There were a lot of parts in the box, but again, setting it up was simple!I will say, if you want to place small bottles on this, remember that there are small dips between the bars that make it annoying for them to stand up. I thought about placing a piece of carboard between the bars and the shelving just to avoid these dips.As I mentioned, it isn’t the sturdiest shelf on the planet, but you will be surprised just how sturdy it is! It’s able to hold quite a lot of things, and it’s easy to disassemble if needed. If you need a decent shelf with plenty of storage that doesn’t break the bank, this might be for you. I will likely end up purchasing more in the future!
I needed something for my books but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Was super easy to put together. I did hammer poles in to make sure they were secure. Feels flimsy but holds a lot of weight.
Es algo difÃcil de armar pero queda resistente y le caben muchas cosas. Si se distribuye bien el peso dejando lo más ligero en la parte de arriba queda muy estable. Se puede armar dándome las distintas formas que vienen en las imágenes pero ya no es posible poner el plástico del fondo, por su tamaño solo alcanza a cubrir dos cuadros.
