Vacuum Hair Clipper
Quite and easy to use!
I bought this baby shaver to start cutting my son’s hair, and it’s been a game-changer! I love that itâs lightweight, quiet, and super easy to use. My son usually gets fussy when people touch his hair, but with this shaver, heâs relaxed and lets me cut it without any issues. Highly recommend for parents looking for an easy, stress-free haircutting experience at home!
Works great!! And its alot quieter than your normal set if clippers. Clean up was a breeze and it was alot easier to use than I thought it would be..
Although it vacuums up hair, the motor is not very strong, so not all the hair goes in the container. The container is small, so it needs to be emptied often.
First off, this clipper will NOT suck like a vacuum cleaner!! I did not expect it to do that, so I am capable of writing this review…it is large which is perfect for my big hands, and it trims as expected; the negative pressure (vacuum) is good and holds the hair either in or at the wide mouth, so it is easy to pick off the hair and throw it in the trash can.I am effectively bald and tried this out to cut down about 2 inches of 6 month growth and it did the job with little effort. I like it and recommend the clipper to anyone who does not expect too much from a novelty product that actually works…can’t give a battery life comment yet though, but I did go 20 minutes at first try with no power drop at all…
I tried these clippers out on shorter hair, my beard, and longer hair, my hair and dogs hair. It works much better on the longer hair that can be pulled into the vacuum area before being cut. With shorter hair it tends to cut before it can be sucked into the vacuum area and the hair falls to the floor. Along those lines the hair storage area is pretty small so you have to empty it a lot with longer hair. This will not be my go to for hair clippers but I can see it being handy to have in a few situations.
I really like the “idea” of these vacuuming clippers, but the real-life use of them was only limitedly successful. They suck hair up and if you position them right the hair does fall into the hair trap. However, in actual use, you don’t normally cut hair with the clippers perfectly aligned with the hair trap. the suction is not even close to strong enough to catch hair that is falling to the side. It pretty much has to have been falling in the direction of the hair trap or it doesn’t make a difference. I used it on my beard and was not impressed. I used it on my head and it was a little better, but I doubt I would buy it again. That being said, other than the main feature the rest works great. It is actually a well-built clipper and has a nice easy-to-clean head and ceramic blades. The blade guards are a little strange to figure out what length is what, but once you realize where the markings are it actually isn’t that bad.
