Protects my mattress from period leaks
I like this product. I bought it to protect my bedsheets and mattress from period leaks. It’s not difficult to clean your bedsheets after those days, but what about the mattress? My last mattress had several brown spots that wouldn’t go away, no matter how much I scrubbed with cleaning products. So, when I got a new mattress, I wanted to prevent the same thing from happening again. I bought a waterproof mattress cover, but I also got this bed pad as double insurance. However, this bed pad seems to be enough on its own. I place it on my bed around the time close to my period, and Iâve never had any leaks on my bedsheet since buying it. I read a few reviews of similar products before purchasing this one, and some people complained about them being noisy or too hot. For me, though, Iâve never experienced those issues. This pad is comfortable, doesn’t heat up, and there are no annoying sounds. Itâs easy to clean, too. It did have an unpleasant chemical smell when I first received it, but that disappeared after a wash. Iâve been using it since July 2023, and it still looks pretty good. The picture was taken in November 2024. It doesnât look as new, but all the seams and stitching are still intact. So, at least for me, it was a good purchase, ð.

Bought it to protect my bed from our senior dog who sleeps on it during the day-this cover stays put and I just throw an old sheet on top which I can easily wash. Works for what I intended, doesn’t make that crinkly plastic sound which my dog hated and was always twirling it around before he laid down, with my old methods.

I purchased this product to protect the bottom half of my bed and my sofa. I have a senior dog who has been experiencing infrequent seizures while sheâs sleeping. She loses bladder control during these episodes. Thankfully these protective pads have prevented her accidents from leaking onto her sleeping spots on the bed and sofa. I didnât want to use a waterproof mattress cover because they tend to be noisy and are uncomfortably sweaty for hot sleepers like me. I also didnât want to have to wash all my sheets and blankets every time she had an episode – the protective pad goes on top. These protective pads are the only ones I was able to find that are big enough to protect the entire lower half of my queen size bed. They are not noisy when the dog wanders from side to side during the night and do not slip out of place as both sides are covered in a soft material. Washing the pads is easily done either in the sink or in my washing machine. Love this product!

These are great! I got them to cover the bed before and after birth. Very comfy to sleep right on top without a sheet. We will be using these lots.
I use these for my elderly dog. I have wood floors that aren’t in good shape so urine is definitely a problem. Have tried other pee pads specifically designed for dogs and the urine always leaked thru the bottom.These don’t have that problem! Never leakes thru the bottom. I use these on my bed where my dog sleeps and again, never leaves thru to my bed, where others have failed. Easy to wash. I don’t put them in the dryer for 90 min bc it does seem damp if only dried for 60 min. I don’t use fabric softener on them. Also I wash them on the whites setting with hot water. Works great!I have bought these 3 or 4 times. I have about 8 of them I use. 4 of the biggest size ones fit the entire floor of my dogs room. Love these and hope I can always find them if I ever need more.
I care for my mom 24/7 with dementia. I change the bedding every day. I love these pads. They work great! They save my sheets every day. I just toss into the wash and they come out great. Highly recommend.
I believe in writing reviews only after a product has proved itself. After 3 years of near daily use and abuse it’s judgement time. This is an exceptional product. I’ve purchased MANY potty pads and these are the only ones that would consider high performance.How I used the product: I purchased these for my incontinent English Bulldogs. When they’re soiled, which is daily, I put them in a laundry basket outside. In the summer there’s lots of potential for the smell and stains to get cooked in.Odor retention: Odor is a deal breaker for me. Pads have remained virtually odor free against all odds. Other than having to occasionally wash them a second time, the odor comes out every single time. A+Stain resistance – No urine or poo stains. None. Mildew, blood and the reddish color from skin infections also washes out. A+Durability: These pads have taken a serious beating. They’ve been walked on by the dogs and me so often that if it was high traffic carpet, it would be worn out. They’ve been stored outside wet with urine in the summer, washed in hot water on heavy duty cycle a minimum of 3 times a week, folded after laundering, I also fold them in half to fit on the dogs beds. After 3 years, only 1 had the stitching come loose on the edge. A+Out of all of the use and extreme abuse, only 2 leaked. They were soaked with urine so I’d sprayed Purrfect Potion on them and put them outside. I didn’t wash them before leaving on a trip the following day. For 4 days they were in direct sun all day in 98F heat. After washing them, one allowed urine to soak all the way through. The other allowed urine to migrate to the bottom layer with slight moisture on the outside of the bottom layer. That’s what it took to wreck these – soaking with urine and harsh chemicals and cooking them in full sun and August heat. Worth every penny…..
I am writing this for the people who have loved ones who pee a lot every night. We have a child who pees every night, so finding a quality pad has been important to us. I hate going through all these reviews so I am hoping this helps someone else.1. This holds a lot of pee every night. Our child lies directly on the pad so we know he is on it when he goes to sleep at night.2. There have been some nights where we have changed the pad out to another pad, but most nights one is enough. I recommend buying the multipack, and one that covers the entire area of the bed where the person would be moving around. We have a twin mattress and use the 34 x 36 pads. In an ideal world we would prefer a 36 x38 size, but I havenât seen it in this brand.3. My son is very sensitive to texture, and he likes these the best and says they are much softer than the others.4. We wash these pads every day, and they have held up really well for us. We hang them to dry, so not putting them in the dryer may help it look and perform well. So, after 3-4 months of daily washing, they still look and work great for a heavy wetter.We have used several other brands that have not held up or worked as well. I think this is the best you can get if you are actually trying to stop urine from going through.
Great absorbency. We switched to these from disposable pads for our dog, who uses the pads 24/7. We have had to change the disposable pad after every 1-2 pee’s because it just saturation and leaking out. These absorb WAY MORE THAN DISPOSABLE! We noticed after 3 times of the dog peeing that there is only 3 small spots where the pee fell into the pad and a couple yellow spots where the quilting is. Dry paws still. When she poos, the cleanup is quick and leaves no brown spots. These are brand new, so I cannot attest to how they will work after some use and washes. I wash them on the delicate cycle, full water level with some Tide and sodium per-carbonate and TSP and rinse with Lysol Sanitizer in rinse water. The plastic backing seems pretty strong, but yet flexible. I also dry on low heat dry, checking every 5 mins to see how hot the dryer is, once the water evaporates, the heat will go up and once that happens I switch to air dry to finish it so the heat does not break down the plastic back layer. They absorb a lot of water so just air drying would take a long time.
