Wife picked this up as a way to get our 3 year old daughter to doing puzzles. The pictures look great, the colors really get her engaged on doing it. The perfect size for her and with the magnetic, easy to use.
This is a great toy that doesn’t make noise (if you know you know) and keeps the kids entertained. My 5 year old loves puzzles and she enjoys this to keep her occupied and use her brain to solve the puzzles. Pieces fit together nicely and this is great to take for travel.
Our experience with this has been mixed. Initially I ordered for my twins to bring on our plane ride and then in hotel while traveling. It is slim enough to fit in a backpack easily, doesn’t take up much room, not too heavy. On the plane when I pulled it out, it was a little tricky to actually use. There are 3 puzzles inside, each has a picture of the puzzle underneath the pieces. This makes it honestly kind of difficult to see where the pieces end and the picture underneath begins. It was really tricky to do this on the plane, especially trying to hold it on my daughter’s lap and with limited lighting. The picture underneath made it challenging to be honest. The other issue is that when you take the pieces off the board so that you can do the puzzle, there is nowhere to put them. The opposite side of the puzzle book does not have magnetic capability, so the pieces will just slide right off the puzzle book when they are not yet on the side meant for assembling the puzzle. Our pieces were falling everywhere on the plane once we put the pieces in a pile so we could actually reassemble the puzzle. So our initial experience was not as great as I hoped. That being said, once we were at the hotel, the puzzle was a big hit! There was room to take the pieces and put them on the floor next to the puzzle book, my other twin daughter loved the 3 different puzzles and didn’t mind the picture underneath . Probably because the lighting helped distinguish the pieces from the underneath picture. This was still a good puzzle game for traveling, but maybe not best for airplane or car ride without somewhere to keep pieces while you’re working on the puzzle
We bought this puzzle to keep my daughter entertained during a long road trip and oh boy did she enjoy building this puzzle. it is not only super cute and fun to put together, but the fact that it is magnetic is genius, especially when trying to keep the pieces together in the car. High recommend it!
This is the PERFECT size for a small child. The puzzles are good quality. The magnet is really powerful keeping the pieces from falling out of the book. It kept my friends daughter entertained for over an hour. She enjoyed the appearance of the puzzles and the pieces were easy to put in and yet challenging to finish.Her mother loved the puzzle book as well and found it unique and different.
