We got one of these and one of the inflatable types and have tried both while traveling with our 1.5yo on long flights. I will say this takes up FAR less space and is very very easy to set-up. I canât speak to the comfort myself since I wasnât sleeping on it, but my toddler was able to sleep.Iâd say my toddler probably prefers the inflatable one from a comfort perspective, but honestly, this one was FAR less work, took up way less space, and he slept on it just the same. I would NEVER EVER travel on a long flight without this or something similar. It is a MUST HAVE!!

I haven’t used this yet on a flight, so I will update this once we’ve used it.My first impressions are, it is a very rough and not soft or plush material. It doesn’t feel comfortable or inspire one to sleep. There isn’t any support along the edges to encourage a flat-like surface. So if it doesn’t pull tight, then it could be not useful. As many other reviewers have indicated, this will require access to the back of the seat (so the row behind us) and talking with and asking help/permission to set it up. Though this shouldn’t be that big of a deal, it seems very taboo in a way to talk/interact with others during travel. It does fold up into it’s own pocket which is nice, but it is so firm a material I found it difficult to unfold and re-fold, I used a lot of strength to do so, which is discouraging.
Very easy to use during travel, and mounts easily. This was a real bonus when changing our 8 month old on the flight to visit Nana, and it doubled as a playing pad for the 4 year old. Definitely a must bring on flights
