No fingers lost (yet)
When my kid occasionally decides to help me prepare food, he uses this knife. He hasn’t lost a finger, so it’s good. I wish it were a magic knife that made him prepare all the meals. That would be awesome.

I like the quality and the fact there is no plastic. My child is overly afraid of knives, so I got this hoping it would help him overcome the fear. Well, I don’t know what I was expecting… Sure there is no way to cut your finger, but it doesn’t cut anything at all. You have to push down really hard to cut any veggies and fruits, unless it’s a banana or a strawberry. No, It’s not the problem of the product, the product is good and I’ll recommend anyone who’s looking for kids knife. But it’s just me. My child’s happy to use this knife, but it didn’t turn out the way I wished.

Great tool for little chefs
I bought this knife for my 2yo who loves to cook and prep with me. She is now 4yo and we still use this knife almost every day. Totally safe and looks just like âadultsâ knifeâ Very good tool to have in a family kitchen to keep kids busy during meal prep.

Love this idea! We have this to my 4 year old as a stocking stuffer and he loves it. He uses it for cucumbers, strawberries, etc. Works great and I feel safe letting him. Highly recommend!
I love this knife. It seems to be totally kid safe. The color is fun. The handle is small and kid-sized, and I’m excited for my son to be able to help with dinner prep. This is a great kid safe knife for little hands.
My 4 year old is impressed that he now has his own knife to help with foods! I didn’t think it would work on cantaloupe but goodness he was able to cut right through the outside of it with no issues!! He’s enjoying practicing cutting his own foods, and with the not sharp (but somehow still cuts!!!) blade we don’t have to worry at all that he will hurt hi.self! So impressed!!!

This “kiddo cutter child safe knife” would be a wonderful choice for a child’s first real interaction with a knife after they progress past the wooden or toddler knives that come in play sets, as it is impossible to cut yourself on this blade, even if you wanted to do so. It comes with an actual metal blade that has been scalloped to look like it is serrated, and a realistically shaped plastic handle, so it truly looks like something an adult would actually use to cut up food. The knife measures approximately 7 inches in length, with the blade being 3 1/2 inches of that length. I purchased this to eventually give to either my niece or nephew when they are a bit older, as they are still only learning how to use a fork or spoon and how to get the food into their mouth before it lands in their lap or on the floor on the way there. But honestly, if they were to hold this knife today and were not being rambunctious, but seated and supervised, I actually would not worry about either of them holding the knife.
