Very solid desk set, almost perfect
While I like almost everything about this set, there is one thing that has to be mentioned and it’s that the wood isn’t varnished. A little disappointing all things considered, as having it varnished would have made this the perfect set for me.With that said, I do like everything else about it. It’s a sizable table that comes with two chairs and and a shelf. Most sets are just the table and chairs so this is a great addition that really adds worth.It arrives with assembly required, but it’s not that hard to put together. You’ll notice that a few parts aren’t totally polished off but they aren’t in areas where I’d be afraid of getting splinters or the sorts. I had all the required parts and tools given to assemble without much of a hassle. The instructions were clear and more or less very easy to follow.The size of the table and chairs makes it suitable for ages of kids for a pretty wide spectrum. It fits a 5 year old as good as a 10. The pieces themselves feel durable and sturdy, especially so because of all the thicker pieces attached by screws.The look and design of simple birch is beautiful yet gives a rustic feel. The wooden grains showing up makes it suitable to have in most settings without cluttering the look. Again, I wish the wood had a protective layer since there’s bound to be marks or scratches left from usage.Overall, I do think this is one of the better kids desk set out there. It has a table, chairs, and a shelf so it comes with everything that is essential. While it’s not perfect because of missing varnish, I do think it’s still worth checking out. It looks clean and simple, but also very nice because of the wood look.
Chair broke in a week
It’s not even 10 days that I bought the kids table and the leg of the chair broke. My son is 5 years and he was sitting on the chair and one of the leg cracked and broke. I was hoping it to be solid but it isn’t.
This is a well made product
My wife and I sit and do crafts, paint and draw at the workstation the chairs are that well made I’m 240lbs lol
