FOR LIGHT & LITTLE ITEM: It does, indeed, pick up some dirt, but the suction hole is TINY, so if you want to have this be useful, your child’s vacuum passes will need to be very close together. AND keep it is aligned straight with the crumb or particle on the floor.

This isn’t the most incredible quality, but it works well and is super adorable. I bought it for my nephew’s birthday and he got to playing with it right away. The styrofoam pellets don’t get picked up well unless you are using the handheld vacuum part. I ended up just tossing them because they were sticking to everything!
Adorable Vacuum Toy Set
This is such an adorable realistic toy. Kids love any opportunity to imitate their parents and this is a perfect way to do so. This mini cordless vacuum is stinkin cute! It makes real vacuum sounds and will suck up lightweight dirt. Little styrofoam pellets are provided to give the vacuum something to clean up. The vacuum would be amazing enough on its own, but this kit has a variety of toy cleaning supplies as well. This seems to be a sturdy and well made toy. Kids are going to love playing with this. This is a great item.
Great Set, Good Quality
This set is plastic and really great quality! Such a great learning and teaching tool. It teaches kids how to clean up and pretend play skills. Love how they also make noises. You will need batteries though. My 3 yr old really enjoyed playing with this set. It comes nicely packaged and would make a great gift.
