Holes in seams after 2 weeks – Updated 2 star-review to 4-stars after great response from seller
I was initially very excited about these mitts as they stay on very well for my kids, but after about 3 weeks of wear a hole appeared along one of the seams. I bought two pairs at the same time for my two sons and several holes appeared in the other pair as well, at the same time as the hole in this pair, along seams in the mitts. The stitching in one of the velcro patches started to come apart in the other pair. I’m very disappointed in the durability and would like to hear from the sellers to either get replacement pairs and try again, or to get a refund.UPDATE: I was contacted by the sellers very quickly about my issues and they were responsive and helpful in resolving things. They gave me some options and ended up sending me upgraded mittens (“The Northern” model) to replace the ones I originally purchased. We have used the new mittens a few times on hikes, skating, playing in the snow, etc. and I’m really impressed with them. My boys loves them and I like that they seem more rugged, warmer and more waterproof than “The Original” style mittens that I initially purchased – a better fit for our needs.

We love these mittens! Our now 21 month old has been using these gloves (for 2-4 year olds) for a couple months now. The long sleeves ensure they stay on and they keep her hands warm, even on cold NY winter days. She happily played outside for over an hour, and would have stayed longer, when the temperature was in the teens. The gloves can be hard to push through coat sleeves but it’s worth it. We wish there were more fun unisex designs like in the smaller infant sizes or more color options but the black with gray looks good with any coat she has on. We’ll definitely look into getting these again when she outgrows her current pair.

Only one of the mittens had the tight fitting elastic around the upper arm. Other than that, they are nice gloves.
