Great product
Was a little unsure about this product, didnât think it would work. But out of desperation I ordered and gave them a shot, and they really work. You just need to express a drop or two of milk before putting them on and theyâll do wonders. I didnât think I would be able to breastfeed my baby anymore because of how painful my nipples were, but these fixed everything entirely.
Very helpful
I bought these and didnât use them at first because I forgot and was trying the nipples creams. My baby hated the cream and I noticed it was harder to hand express. My nipples were getting chafed and I wore them between feedings. Within one feeding most of the redness and bleeding was under control! Luckily I donât need them too much anymore but theyâve been so helpful, I highly recommend!

So, the way to use this according to the manufacturer is to use a few drops of breast milk to coat the inside of the covers before using them to cover your nipples. Well this only works if you also use some breast milk to moisturize your nipples at the same time. Unless, the covers dry to your nipples and they can be painful to remove or peel off if stuck. Note that you cannot use any ointments with this shield, which beats its purpose imo. If all you want is your nipples protected from rubbing on tops and other fabric, then buy this maybe.

I ordered the larger size and it doesnât seem to feel like itâs a larger size tbh, which then causes it to cut circulation/leave an indent when I wear it for a few hours which sometimes can make my nipple vaspospasm way worse.. but if I wear it for less than 3 hours at a time, it helps protect my nipples from bending/rubbing against my bra which can also irritate/cause my vasospasm. So for my particular case itâs hit or miss, but I donât leave home without it.Oh PS, I also dislike that you can see it through your shirt, which is fine in winter with layers, but I donât think I can use this outside the house in a month when it gets warmer, it gives you cone nipples.

No proof that this works
This is based on pseudo science and has no scientific proof that silver cups helps healing. If you dont clean the cups regularly they will do more bad than good for you and your baby. Be careful before buying. I returned it.
Life saver
One of my favourite pregnancy products. I highly recommend! For me, these were definitely worth the spend.
I started out with nipple cream but decided to switch to these silverettes 10/10 recommend, my nipples immediately healed and I never had any issues with chapped nipples again.
I have 4 kids. I’ve breastfed all of them. I’m also the “suffer in silence” type. So last 3 kids, I dealt with painful breastfeeding. All latched fine, no issues, just sore and cracked from nursing and rubbing against fabric which dried the skin out. I’m currently dealing with my 1 month old having thrush. It’s been so painful to the point I’m bleeding and was really thinking about getting formula. I decided to use these for the first time and I wish I had sooner. Just put a couple drops of breastmilk in it and put it on. It keeps it from getting rubbed and smooshed against the fabric and breastmilk keeps it from drying out while healing any damage. After less than a day, it feels way better and less painful. It also stays put unlike what I thought and I’m grateful for how well these help!
These covers saved me in the first few weeks breastfeeding when I was wearing them 24/7 but one of them got a little distorted because the metal is somewhat thin. I was able to gently reshape it but it’s not quite the same. It didn’t affect their functionality, just wish it didn’t warp. (The one on the left in photo) Also like that they come with a case for when you’re not using them!
I bought these to help with pregnancy related sensitivity but they are too shallow so instead of my bra pushing uncomfortably, they push uncomfortably. Also, completely visible under a shirt even with a padded bra.
Didn’t have these until my 3rd kid and I AM IN LOVE with them! I have struggled with blocked ducts and pain and discomfort while nursing and having to wear bras. So for kid #3 I knew I needed a solution — and these are the miracle cure for my issues!!!I pop them into place and it prevents my bra from squishing me uncomfortably.They are obvious under my shirt however which is a drawback. BUT because they are such a solution I just have worked to get over that fact that people will notice them under my shirt — they don’t know that they aren’t my nipples but I would 100% rather be wearing them than not.Though one word of advice… don’t go thru a metal detector with these in place! I learned that lesson the interesting way…
