Kids code along with their new pets’ storybook adventure, and help the curious Scamper and sneaky Sneaker have a playtime they’ll never forget! Each storybook coding challenge unfolds in the Coding Critters’ fun pet playset – can you code Scamper to play hide and seek, catch the butterfly at the end of her cat toy, or catch Sneaker after a ride down the slide? In addition to following along with the storybook’s coding challenges, you can also use the pet playset to design your own code games and more! The Coding Critters also double as cute interactive pets – press Scamper’s nose to activate Play Mode, where you can feed, pet, and take care of your new kitten robot pal! 1. Fun toy
My four year old daughter absolutely loves it! Easy for her to figure out and she loves all the different things it can do. Definately a great purchase.

  2. Kids like it
Kids liked this when they Received it, but quickly lose interest, cause the first one we received Somehow does not work properly after 10mins of using it. We got a new one now but has to be very careful, so they loose interest. I don’t let them Play on carpet or randomly press the button, in case it Stop working again.

  3. Nice gift
We bought this for our granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it!

  4. muy buen juguete

  5. This was for our 4 year olds birthday and she loves cats so we knew this would be a hit!It is super easy to program and use. Imogen soon understood how to make it move. It has a simple mode of just pressing the arrow buttons (forward, left, right and backwards). It is a little hard to visualize the distance traveled with the forward and back movements but with a little practice you soon get the hang of making the cat move where you want to.It is a fun a novel toy!It seems well made. The small kitty is cute too and has a magnet which triggers a meow noise which adds to the toy’s appeal. Some of the extras are just props to use to navigate around.Outside of the programming mode there is a cute dance mode where the cat moves with music it plays, a sleeping mode, a sentry mode and feeding modes. These are just pre-programmed modes where the cat moves or makes sounds with the press of the buttons. To be fair that is all this toy will do so be mindful of the price. We got this at a really good deal.As for replay value, this will depend if your child likes the programming side of things or whether this will just be something to pick up occasionally to play with just for the sounds.Overall for us, a thumbs up considering the price we paid.

  6. The Coding Creature is coding toy similar to the Botley, but smaller, simpler, and a lot cuter. All the controls are on the cat-like creature itself. There is no remote control device. When first turned on, the creature starts in “coding mode”, where you can tap the direction buttons on its back to program a sequence of movements and then watch it go.The creature also has a “play” mode, where each button immediately triggers a pre-programmed response. Responses include a musical “dance” routine and a happy coos as if responding to being fed or petted. In addition to the creature itself, the box includes a simple arch structure and decorative set pieces that children can use to create an obstacle course for the creature to navigate using their programs. There are also cards that can be used to lay out a program visually before tapping it into the control buttons.Overall, the creature is an interesting variant of the Botley. It’s wheels are very small, which limits its ability to move across carpet. Its simplicity and cuteness makes it more approachable for small children, and lacking a remote is not really a negative. Remotes consume a lot of battery power, and small children would rather chase the creature around the room than watch it from a distance.

  7. Its Fun because it tilts to the left when moving forward.

  8. My daughter loves this set. The large cat has arrows on top which enable you to programme it manually. It also has lots of cute accessories which you can make the cat explore via programming their location in.
