I got this as a present for my 1 year old who really enjoys removing and replacing lids. The shape of the spikes are great for little hands and very nice colors to encourage engagement. I would say that if the spikes were to be put in a kid’s (or a four-legged pal) mouth they would get wrecked as the plastic is quite soft. The spikes store inside of the hedgehog so that’s great for keeping them all together. Super cute toy that I would be definitely gift to another baby/toddler in my life.
