This car seat is super easy to set up, and the quality is solid. The adjustable straps fit perfectly in my SUV, and my dog loves hopping in for our drives. The material is very flimsy, not supportive for a dog at all ! The seat is slipping out every time I step gently on breaks and when the dog moves around the seat pillow is on the floor am very disappointed in this product ! Waste of money in my opinion!!!!
Dog seats
The dog seats were wrinkled and the cushions are pieces of foam or something. Rather than one solid piece of cushion.Very disappointing. I spent over $90. For two car seats.
I would have given this a 5-star rating but my dog does not like it. I thought it would be great to make her feel more secure and also lift her up a bit so she could see out the window and lay down at the same time. She climbs into this bed when she first gets in the car but as soon as the car moves she gets out and sits next to it. It may be because we were not able to secure the bed to the seat using the straps on the bottom of the bed and the seat belt. It just does not seem to work in our car. So because it is not completely stable this may make her nervous, I’m not sure. But it seems to be very well made and very soft. I also like that the bottom pad can come out. I may try to rig it somehow so that it is more secure and hope that she gets used to it.
It was an epic fail for controlling my spastic border collie. She runs across the back seat from window to window. She thinks she can herd the cars zooming by. We now use this for the garage in the winter. She likes to lay on her throne bed when hanging with my husband in the garage. It protects her from the cold concrete.
My dog loves this. Not only do we use it in the car but she also uses it in the house. Material is soft, cushiony and easy to keep clean. I truly recommend this product.
I have a 4lb female chi and a 4lb male chi. They LOVE to climb in this car seat and snuggle! I added a small pillow and they can both sit up and watch where we are going also! It’s both of their favorite spot in the car! It is just big enough for the two of them.P. S. My daughter’s chi is about 6lbs and he is the only one that can fit when he is in it. He fits comfortably and always takes the car seat when he is with me.
I bought two of these dog seats for our scared rescue dogs. Prior to getting the dog car seats, our rescue dogs were fearful and nervous on car rides. Now the are buckled in and relaxed on car rides. They stick their heads out the window safely without fear of them falling out. We bought harnesses to go with these dog car seats. These seats are very large! I bought two and I have a prius. We have to turn one sideways to fit them both in the back seat.
