He plays with it every day and engages him longer than any toy!
I bought this when my son was 10 months old on sale for about $90 and in the past 3 months he plays with it EVERYDAY. This toy was worth every penny and has held his attention more than any other toy he owns.I knew he would be a bit tall for it but I love that it engages him without having to be flashy with lights and sounds! He gets a kick out of crawling in and out if it. When I tell him we are going to do a diaper change he runs into his little fort and closes the door lol.His age group loves playing with opening and closing as well as the idea of containment, and for these reasons he loves putting the balls in the hole, opening and closing the window and door and putting different things in the mailbox and taking it out again. My telescope works fine and does not drop from the weight like other reviewers say. Yes my son has closed the mailbox on his fingers twice and screamed from it but it has not stopped him from playing with it, instead we have shown him (and he has learned) how to close it without his fingers being in there. Kids will get hurt! It happens!I have set it up with the four sides in a square which enclosed into a little house for him which makes it sturdy enough to help them stand up. If the pieces are placed side by side It will not be as sturdy. Slide doesnt work as a slide, just a cute place to crawl over. Only one button when pushed makes a cute bird sing with a small tune that my son dances to. My only regret is I did not buy this sooner!
So fun
My grandchildren love this! They play with it everyday. It is just right for little ones.
Love it
My son love this little house more and more everyday. I got this when my son was 7.5 months and now it has been more than a month. I put him in the closed house setting and sit him inside with a cushion on the slide and wall against the door so he will stay inside. In the beginning he was only interested in the activity board, but now he likes the ball chute, the bell on the door and sometimes he is curious of the telescope. As he learns how to stand he hold on to the purple window frame and support himself up that way. He did fell out of the house head first yesterday when he tried climb out of the activity board on a table position. Thankfully he was fine.Little tikes toys are usually pretty well made, but still do have sharp edges sometimes on the edges of any cut out parts, this can be fixed by buffing the area using nail file or sand paper. My son did get a scratch on his head first time I put him inside, the window frame that was his head height while sitting was rough and hence cut him a little when his head brush on it. Thats why I deduct a star.Hours of fun everyday, a good way to contain my baby before he was able to stand.
Entertaining toy
This toy is really cute. My 1 year old plays in it all day. My 6 year old also enjoys playing with her in it. Lots of different things she can do with it. Only thing is the slide is not usable as the opening is too small for her to fit through. But she still sends her toys down it. Highly recommend this toy.
Second time around!
I owned this activity Garden playset when my granddaughter was a baby 10 years ago. She used that playset everyday from age 1 to at lest 3 years of age. She learned to walk by holding onto its frame and you could hear her chortle with delight. She never tired off all the activities it gave her. Well, baby #2 is on its way now – 9 years apart from her sister. So I purchased this again in its new updated version and I am thrilled with it too – so colorful and sturdy – I am ready for the fun to begin once again. It was worth every penny!
Well worth the money!!
This was probably the best purchase I ever made. It would have been worth the money even paying full price, I got it on sale. Itâs got so many activities on it to promote development. And my son loves it! He plays in it for hours a day. The assembly was okay, there were quite a few pieces. The mail box lid could be a little better quality. My son just rips it off. But I would purchase it again!
My children really like it!
My daughter is 8 months and she loves it, my son is 3yrs old he loves it even more although it is very flimsy under the hands of anyone older then 18 months.
Little Tikes Garden Assembly
Looks exactly like the picture but a little bit smaller than I expected but very good quality overall and my baby loves it!
En realidad es una buena opción para niño o niña, llegó super bien y a mi niño le encantó .Sin duda muy recomendable
I bought this toy last year for my daughter for Christmas. She was 1 month old. Yeah, everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Right around 6 months is when she started using it everyday. I put a Boppy pillow in the middle so that she could sit and play with all the toys. She LOVED it. As she got older she was able to pull herself up and stand using it. Now she crawls through the window, the slide and the door, she also uses it as a walker. It’s pretty funny, she stands inside it and pushes on the top bar. Then she walks behind it. She still uses this toy everyday. We did not put on the stickers or put in any batteries, and we’ve never had it out of the square configuration. My niece likes it too. She’s about 2 years older and likes to play in “the castle too”. It’s held up really well, even when being used as a walker. It might be a little small for the higher range kids (2.5 years) but my niece is big for her age and she did just fine. What I do like about this toy is that it has something to offer for different developmental age levels. I also like the fort like quality of the toy. It’s my daughter’s space. She crawls in there with her other toys and will just hangs out. It is a little large, it sits in the middle of the living room for a lot of the day since she plays with it so often, but as long as you have a space to stash it is no big deal. It will break down into panels, but you wouldn’t want to do that all of the time. I highly recommend this toy, but I also know that not every child will use it the same and it is a lot of money to spend. We have definitely gotten our money out of it!
This is good for baby who starts to crawl and stand up. Can be as play time with other babies too. Good for interactive play.
I purchased this for my grandchildren playroom and it was an absolute hit. Lots of pieces so took a bit longer to put together but definitely worth it.
My little guy plays with this every day. He crawls through the door or the window ð¤·ââï¸. He walks up and down the slide and then slides on it. I know the slide is small, but itâs fun for little kids. He even drives his riding toys up to the mailbox and puts stuff in or takes it out. He plays with every part of it. Iâm sure he will continue for a long time. The only concern I have is for the slide. It does bend when he gets on it. Iâm not sure of the weight limit. My guys is really small for his age. Heâs 17 months, weighs about 20 lbs, and wears 9-12 month clothes. Since the toy is for 6 months – 3 years, I would think it shouldnât bend there yet. Hopefully I wonât have to remove the slide early, because he loves that part a lot.Oh, I forgot to mention that it can be set up in a lot of different configurations. To me, the rectangle seems the most stable though, so I need the slide to be able to keep it like that.
