Fantastic Set, good magnets
We have a bunch of Picasso Tiles and Magna tiles, and this set worked perfectly with them. They are good quality and the magnets are strong. This set has more than enough parts to make some really fun runs and comes with a nice container to store them in.Lots of cheap and smaller sets on Amazon, I’m glad we went with this one. Kids love it!

The designs offered in the booklet that comes with the pieces, are a little complex so parents? Be prepared to be asked for help haha. However! For the child that wants to create on their own terms, there is plenty of designs they can come up with on their own. Lots of variety for pieces and possibilities with this set. It’s a great opportunity to teach kids about starting over too, as magnets don’t stick together as steady as duplo blocks would. So they learn that “it’s ok! It’s meant to fall apart. Let’s just try again.”

Strong magnets and works well with other similar branded products. The tubes and slides are a fun addition, and work well with all sizes of marbles. Kids ages 5 and 8 love them!

These magnet marble tracks are amazing. We had many magnet tiles already and thought this would be a cool extension. It’s a big hit! Tubes for marbles clip into the magnet tiles. It has an instruction book to help with building ideas, especially in the beginning. My 8 year old loves it. My 3 year old enjoys playing with the magnets, or with an already built marble track, but this would be too difficult for younger kids to build on their own. Probably 6+ years old to be able to use this correctly. It’s a huge set and had enough pieces for several kids to play and build together at once. I’d totally buy this again.
We got this for Christmas and have quite literally played with it every day since. Itâs definitely been worth its price, but my only complaint is that a lot of the straight pieces have had their connector parts broken. My 4 year old isnât always the softest, but these are also very difficult to snap into place and remove which I think weakens the connectors causing them to break off. A change in design would help significantly, both with accessibility (my kid wouldnât need me to snap them in place for him) and durability. Itâs a bummer that we canât make some of the larger builds anymore because a lot of the pieces have broken.
So far it’s been awesome. I bought this and a picasso tiles marble run at the same time. These seem much thicker and better quality while also having fun things to add like the windmill while the picasso tiles was a rip off with multiple tubes being broken and not nearly as sturdy. My 6 year old daughter and 11 year old son have had no issues snapping them together or taking them apart on their own. They’ve both been able to make multiple different runs! These have definitely gotten used far more than the picasso tiles set.
Let me start by saying that if all the pieces that were supposed to be included had come in the package, I would give it 5 starsâ¦176 pieces is a nice big kit! There are several of each type and size, the pieces are big enough to easily make nice tall towers, and my toddler liked that there were multiple colors included.The kit comes with a booklet that has pictures of different build ideas, and each picture of a build includes a list of the different pieces used to complete it. It does not include directions however, and some rear or inner areas of the build -meaning which specific pieces are used there- arenât visible in the picture. An adult can figure it out, but the bigger builds will most likely be too complex and difficult for kids under the age of around 8/9.The curved pieces that create the tubes, bending turns, etc have small peg-like bumps on them that need to click into holes on other pieces to connect them. Little hands will most likely have difficulty and frustration with this. The basic square pieces are magnetic however, so even if younger children are unable to do bigger builds independently they can still have fun building their own designs with the squares.I apparently didnât pay close enough attention when ordering, as I didnât realize that this was still literally a marble run and comes with marblesâ¦**Be warned that this comes with large marbles – think shooter-marble size. The age for this is 3+, and I do agree with the age recommendation as far as basic play… However, if your 3 year old is like mine and toys etc sometimes still go in their mouth, I HIGHLY recommend that play be supervised. Iâm a nurse in the emergency department, and this stresses me outâ¦**While a smaller, normal-sized marble would probably be swallowable for a 3 year old, these large ones are actually MORE of a choking hazard as they would most likely obstruct an airway.**Anyway, this set promises much fun. My toddler was very excited to play with it! Even while I worked on more complex parts, she enjoyed building her own house with the magnetic squares and rolling the marbles through tubes.Unfortunately, several of the pieces were missing, so we couldnât complete any of the 3 builds my child selected from the booklet. I have messaged the seller, but only an hour ago⦠so no time for a response yet. 🙂 Hopefully they will resolve this issue quickly, as I really do think this is a great product and will be lots of fun!
