  1. Lots Of Fun!
These block are a lot of fun for our child to play with, and she loves building ‘Minecraft’ houses in real life. The blocks have decent magnets that are both powerful enough to hold tight together, but also weak enough for a young child to separate easily. The prints on the outside are very vibrant and colourful, and with them being rubbed together I haven’t noticed and fading or scratching. They seem like they will last a long time.Looking at the brands other products, it looks like there are a bunch of other ‘biome’ and ‘character’ sets available. So when our child runs out of ideas with this set, we will look to get another one with different blocks for her creativity to spark again!Lots of fun!

  2. A fun little set…
This is a fun little set of magnetic blocks, but with an emphasis on the “little” part. That is, these are somewhat smaller than standard/brand name magnetic blocks, so the price-point does seem a little steeper than I would have guessed. I could see if the blocks were an officially licensed product, but as a generic set these could stand to be a bit cheaper I think.Regardless, there is still a lot of creativity to be had here, and even though they are smaller in size, they can still be mixed in with any larger blocks you may already have to create scenes with a better sense of scale. The magnets are fairly strong, and we didn’t encounter any issues with the blocks not attaching properly. However, the blocks do make a noticeable “rattle” sound due to the magnets shifting around, but this appears to be the case with most other playsets we’ve used in the past as well. The colours and images are vibrant & sharp for the most part, and having a few block designs depicting windows and doors etc is a nice touch in allowing your kiddos to create any structure they please. Most of the patterns and textures are modeled after a certain popular game, so your children may even already be familiar with how to best make use of the various block types. In the end, our kids didn’t really care that these blocks were smaller than their other magnetic playsets — but as the parent spending the money, you may find the asking price to be a bit of a hurdle.

  3. Fun, Creative, and Screen-Free Entertainment
These magnetic tiles are such a fun and engaging toy for kids. They’re perfect for building all kinds of shapes and structures, sparking creativity and keeping little ones entertained for hours. My child loves experimenting with different designs, and it’s a great way to encourage imaginative play. What I appreciate most is how these tiles offer a fantastic alternative to screen time, giving kids something hands-on and educational to focus on. They’re also sturdy and easy to handle, making them suitable for toddlers and older kids alike. A wonderful choice for fostering creativity and constructive play!

  4. Great Concept for Minecraft Lovers, but Pricey for What You Get
This magnetic building set has a lot of promise for kids who love Minecraft. The concept is fantastic, with pieces that include grass, oak leaves, and other familiar elements, allowing kids to build their own worlds and spark creativity. The magnets are strong, and the blocks fit together easily, making it safe and fun for younger kids. It’s definitely a great way for children to develop skills in areas like spatial thinking, problem-solving, and architecture. However, as other reviews have pointed out, you’ll need 2 to 3 sets to actually build many of the larger structures shown in the instructions and advertisements. With only 100 pieces, it doesn’t go as far as you might expect, especially if you’re trying to create the more complex designs they feature. At $70 for a single set, the price feels pretty steep considering the limited number of pieces. While it’s a fun and educational toy, you may need to invest in a couple of sets if you’re hoping for the full building experience.

  5. Great for imaginative play
Pros:- Blocks feel good quality- Lots of different colours/types (e.g. grass, water, etc.)- A great way for kids to expand their imagination using a game-based toy that doesn’t involve a screenOpportunities:- Like many of these magnetic block sets, the main picture is misleading as there aren’t enough blocks in the set to create the structures.

  6. Nice set but blocks are small
These magnetic blocks are a fun toy for my children. They love the ease with which they can build things, as well as the vibrant colours and various designs. The magnets holding the blocks together are decently strong, and my kid’s creations managed to stay together without much issue. The actual printed designs on the blocks are also nice and sharp. I love the variety of designs, but it would be nice if this set came with a couple of people blocks. The main issue I have with this product is that the blocks are surprisingly small, measuring at about 0.8 inches across. I was actually shocked at how small the box containing the 100 pieces was. I have other similar magnetic blocks from a different vendor/brand, and they are actually much bigger than these. The difference in size between these blocks and my existing ones means they aren’t fully compatible together in spite of the design similarities. Also, just be aware that the product listing shows some pictures of structures that simply aren’t buildable with the 100 pieces included in this set. For example, the very first pictures shows a creation that has multiple furnace pieces, but there is only a single furnace in the 100 piece set. Though quite pricey, these blocks seem like they are of good quality, but just be aware of the dimensions of each block as well as how limited 100 pieces actually is.

  7. To address the comments saying you don’t get enough in a box to make the examples in the pictures, they do clearly state how many blocks it took to make each model, and also how many you get in a box (Having ran an Etsy and Folksy shop myself in the past I know how people don’t read listings properly and miss obvious details, so this isn’t a surprise. That being said, the amount you get in a box could be more for the money, considering the average 30 piece Lego set is about £10, but this is a unique idea, to me at least. When I’ve had magnetic toys before they have had to be built with regards to the polarity of the magnets, so could only be placed one way – but these use some way of allowing you to attach any side of any block to any other side of another, and other blocks beyond that in any direction (you can hear a mechanism inside each block allowing this), and the magnets themselves are quite strong so they attach really well, even being able to hang from each other. They can’t be cheap to make, especially as they’re not just printed bits of paper etc on the blocks, it’s like the plastic itself is coloured or printed on to directly, and the mechanism inside each block must cost a bit – so I can see why these are pricey! If you have disposable income and don’t mind forking out that bit extra to get a decent set of these, I’d highly recommend them – but you do get more for your money with something like Lego, which will always remain a classic toy for kids and adults…One thing that’s not too obvious on the page or on the box is the danger of swallowing magnets – not for the choking hazard but for medical reasons. I remember when my son was a toddler all the magnetic toys he had were plastered with warnings about the danger of magnets (I don’t want to imagine what would happen in something like an MRI machine or next to a strong magnet, with one of these inside you, and they are quite small), so although the box has a tiny warning sign on it, it’s easily missed – perhaps a slip of paper inside giving the warning too might be appropriate, as it is a hazard…Saying all that, I wish I’d had these when I was a kid – actually I’d like to play with them now!

  8. These are a great gift idea for anyone into Minecraft. They are quite small and 100 blocks won’t let you build anything particularly substantial so you may want to invest in more than one set.One kit by itself might be a good size for a little desk display or on a bookshelf.I do think the current price of £49.99 is bit steep but I guess the cost of all those magnets must be reasonably high. If it was £30 for the set I would give it 5 stars.

  9. When I was younger it was Meccano, Lego, and other building toys that I used to use, they didn’t have magnetic block building kits from memory. This 100 piece set from JauniQ has the basic building blocks to make some unique small creations, or to combine with other sets to create something bigger. The blocks are easy to use and assemble for small hands, and with help from parents for smaller children you should be able to keep your child occupied and learning thanks to this being a STEM sensory toy. They seem to be pretty reasonable quality. Each block contains one of nine patterns or the reverse on one side is different to the other. The box is small, this is good to take with you on holidays, or for storage. The pack includes:1 x Information Leaflet100 x Building BlocksThe blocks consist of the following:1 x Window1 x Wooden Box1 x Furnace1 x Workbench7 x Oak14 x Oak Leaf14 x Water25 x Stone36 x Grasses

  10. Smashing little building set, very easy to create ‘something’ straight out of the box!.The cubes attach to each other well enough to stay in place as you proceed, but not so much as to be a problem when you’re repositioning them. It’s a clever idea, and will probably be easier for little fingers to manipulate than the standard push-in blocks. They’re also far less likely to spill out onto the floor if the box is tipped over… less mess and hopefully less chance of lost bits. The only stumbling block (pardon the pun) may be the price, which IMO is pretty high at the RRP.At time of writing there’s a 50% discount available, which brings it down to a far more realistic level, considering how many is in the box (and how many you would actually need to complete some of the more detailed buildings). On a quality/value-for-money basis…. 5-Stars at discount (3+ at RRP).

  11. These magnetic blocks are much smaller than I had realised. I had processed that the block have 2cm side length, but nonetheless rather expected a pack of 100 to be rather larger than the slim box I have received. This looks as though it would fit easily through a letterbox, with only the depth much larger than a regular envelope. The blocks themselves are pretty good. They really do look like Minecraft building blocks. My little nephew, who is six, wanted (and got) a set of similar style bricks for Christmas, but these are different scenery style elements from those he already has – wood, water, bricks, grasses, leaves, stone – so the two sets are complementary. These have built in magnets that move around allowing the blocks to be connected on any side, and the bonds created are pretty solid. The blocks are made from plastic with printing directly on them (not on paper coatings), so this won’t peel off in use.The main product image is a bit misleading, as this shows far more bricks than you get in the set. The ‘special’ bricks – wooden box, window, workbench, furnace – are very few in number. You only get one each of these. That said, if you go through the product images carefully this is shown in one of the images, which lists the type and number of bricks included, if not described in the product details. For me, these seem overpriced at £49.99/50p per brick, though at time of writing there is a reduction of 50%, which is more reasonable – though still perhaps a touch on the high side for an unofficial product.
