This board stands above for me compared to similar toys. The maze feature includes what I call little “elevators” that are little magnetic sliding bits that add an additional level of challenge for young kids. The number of balls included means that it will keep your little one engaged for quite some time. The magnet is sufficiently strong for the little balls and there is no risk of them falling out and ending up everywhere. I love that this toy is self contained, and hasn’t scratched up as easily as other boards I have tried. Overall very happy with this and my daughter loves the nod to the movie Frozen.
This Frozen-themed maze with magnets teaches colours and numbers! Teacher approved!
As a kindergarten teacher, this colour and number maze was an immediate draw for all my students! The wooden board is strong and durable, and the front has thick acrylic plexiglass that protects everything inside and keeps all the pieces contained. The magnetic pencil is attached and allows children to pick up the individually coloured balls and move them to their desired spot. I love that this reinforces colours and counting! It also improves students’ fine-motor skills. This is obviously inspired by the movie, Frozen, and my students adore the little characters on the board! My students love using this magnetic board and I love that they are learning while having fun!
