Fun for all ages
We purchased this as a gift for my sons, age 6 and 4, however I get just as much enjoyment from it. Overall seems to be quite sturdy and lots of fun to use our imaginations.
Fantastic for open ended play! Hours of entertainment!
This item is absolutely hours of play for all 5 of my children ranging from 3-9 years old. They are easy to assemble, the pieces are beautifully coloured and textured and the magnets are nice and strong. There are enough pieces to build great structures unlike some where you spend a bunch of money and dont even get enough pieces to build anything interesting. Would recommend and will definitely buy more for the set!
Kid’s will love it
It takes some patience setting it up but once it’s ready to go my 3 year old loved it. My 8 year old could build it with some help and likes how the balls light up and make it all the way to the end
Loads of fun for parents too
We love this, we have the soyee 102 pieces set and this lukat set pairs with it perfectly! This is ever so slightly thicker than soyee but not enough to affect anything, they are perfectly interchangeable, letting us build crazy tall highly supported marble runs.For the tubes, my 4.5 yr can almost build a smaller structure on his own, my 2yr just loves dropping balls down tubes lol. It’s mostly a grown-up building it for them to play with lol. Both of them can build towers alone with the magnetic squares, I get them to build my “support beams” lol.It is a little scary taking them apart however, some get really stuck and ya gotta really rip em apart, I’m shocked none of the nubs have snapped off yet, I won’t be surprised if we lose a few tubes eventually.The only thing I want now is a compatible set of “weird things”, like splitters for the tubes, or 3/4 turns, or turns+risers, funnels, spinners, etc.
Fun but has flaws
Magnetic marble runs are downright fun. But both sets we own have their flaws.This Lukat one is compatible with our Picasso tiles.Lukat came with more pieces, however, 27 of those pieces are pointless aesthetic inserts for support pieces. A bit of a misleading waste. The Lukat one we are having problems with the balls hitting the connector pieces and getting stopped mid-track. Not sure why. All the pieces are identical size to Picasso tiles, the Lukat balls are even smaller, but even our slightly bigger and heavier Picasso tile balls get stopped.We got Lukat tiles as an extension set for our Picasso tiles run. We find the Picasso tiles do have a smoother overall run, no balls ever getting stopped or stuck. However, a few of our Picasso pieces connecting “nubs” were faulty and didn’t stay in the connectors from the moment we opened the box – but Picasso tiles won’t ship replacements to Canada! Very disappointing.I see reviews about stability, and we’ve found with both our marble runs you need to build solid bases. Having things stand on one tile as in the idea booklets isn’t realistic and they will collapse. In saying that, we have a regular Picasso tile set, and highly recommend that for optimal building!!!Overall Lukat is a decent addition to our Picasso tiles. Hopefully the quality remains and the customer service is more accommodating if things do break. A little bummer when the balls get stuck but trial and error making the best runs anyway.Happy building!
It’s a great toy but hard to fit the pieces together
It’s a great toy but hard to fit the pieces together. It’s a really fun toy, marble runs are a huge hit around here, but I’ve only given it 3 stars because the kids cannot snap the pieces together on their own. Even our 8 yr old can only do it some of the time. It’s also not very stable when assembled and can collapse easily. Make sure your kids know that half the fun is in the building of it or they will be upset. Lol

I was super impressed that it arrived the day after I ordered it! Although there are 125 pieces in the box, the company packed them very well and the box isn’t too big for my tiny place.My kids love everything magnetic and I bought them magnetic tiles from another company before. But they’re still super amazed to see the marble tracks and the flashing balls in the box! (I knew I picked the right gift for them!)It was originally their Christmas present but I couldn’t wait so we all opened it right away 𤣠Great design and very very creative idea.We love everything about it so far. Highly recommended!
