Matissa Baby Bodysuit/Onesie Extenders, Pack of 5 White, Small

We cloth diaper with the Esembly two size system. My baby recently transitioned to size 2, and the added bulk made it difficult to snap on onesies. Whenever we use disposable diapers while traveling, however, the onesies fit just fine. These extenders make it easy to switch between bulky cloth diapers and thinner disposables. They make baby’s clothes stretch a little longer before we have to size up!!Snap size: Note that you should measure the size of the snaps on your onesies before ordering. The description says these are 9 mm and work for snaps between 9 – 9.5 mm. If your snaps are 8 mm, then these won’t work for you. (Little Fern Co. is pricier but they are one of the only companies I found that makes 8 mm snap onesie extenders.) We use mostly H&M onesies and these snaps work great with those. I did try them on a Cloud Island onesie but they didn’t fit.Shrinkage: Note that since these are cotton, they will shrink slightly after washing and machine drying. That wasn’t a problem for us. They were plenty big enough to begin with!Appearance: Yes, they look kind of funny/mismatched when snapped on the baby’s onesie and the fabric bunches slightly since the spacing between snaps differs, but it’s nothing that putting on a pair of pants doesn’t solve.Quality: The snaps fit securely in place. Haven’t had any issues with the snaps falling apart even after a couple of washes.Quantity: We’re more minimalist with our baby’s wardrobe so 5 extenders is plenty. I will often remove and reuse an extender a few times before washing since usually only the top part of the onesie is dirty from food/spit up.Cost: $10 for a pack of 5 feels a little pricey for what they are, but it’s totally worth it to save on buying more baby clothes!Overall I’d recommend these onesie extenders to cloth diapering parents or any parents who want to stretch their baby’s clothes a month or two longer!

These are compatible with Carters snaps but do not fit the Gerber snaps.
