This MeasuPro is a device that I’m happy and grateful to own, and I hope that I never, ever have to use it!I live with someone that suffers from dysphagia. They frequently cough and gag on food, and I’m forever worrying about them choking while they eat.Now that I have this device, I worry a bit less. I know that if something gets lodged in their airway, I have this tool to suction it out, quickly. I really love that this device could actually be used by the person choking – which makes me feel a lot more comfortable with them eating when I’m not around!The device comes well packaged, it’s compact and easy to store. I keep mine in a drawer in my kitchen island, within reaching distance of where we eat. I know that if I need it, all I have to do is unzip the bag and I can begin a lifesaving intervention. I much prefer this to what I had mentally prepared myself to do otherwise; do the heimlich and potentially break their delicate ribs! This is a MUCH better, safer option, for both the person choking and the rescuer.The kit comes with two mask sizes – adult and child. It’s all contained in a zip up bag, so it can be easily transported anywhere. I have a couple of nieces that spend lot of time at my house (6 & 2) and they’re forever talking while they’re eating, which worries me about them choking. I feel a lot more confident feeding them at my house knowing that I have the MeasuPro.I think every household should have one of these kits. Choking can happen to anyone at anytime, and you only have seconds to minutes to dislodge the food and get them breathing again. This device is fast and easy to use, with no real training required. It’s very straightforward (place mask over nose and mouth, push plunger down, pull plunger up to dislodge food), but we still discussed the device together and ensured that we were both comfortable using it. This device gives me great peace of mind and while I hope to never have to use it, I’m extremely happy to own it. Recommended without hesitation, this product belongs in every home and restaurant.

This choking rescue device is easy to use and easy to put together, and is the kind of item that it seems like we should all have in our homes.The choking rescue device comes with its own carry case, the plunger and two face masks, one for an adult and one for a child. It is very easy to put together; you just push the face mask into the bottom of the plunger and it is ready. The face mask is very soft and flexible.It is very easy to use in case someone is choking. You place the mask over the person’s nose and mouth, hold the mask with your hands so that it keeps the seal, push the plunger down with your strength and then pull back on the plunger, and that creates suction to pull out the obstruction. I tried it on myself to see what it was like and how it worked, and it did create good section, and I wasn’t even using all my strength.I like that this set comes with both a child and an adult’s mask, a see-through case to remind you of what’s inside, and that it is easy to use. I was not using it in an emergency but it felt like it had good section and I think this is a very good safety item to have around.
