Awesome!! tried the wireless in bra style of another brand first but this is far superior. Can see to line up and so you can stop when milk no longer flowing. Highly recommend!
Next best to the hospital pump!
We all love the hospital electric pump. I wanted an electric pump that was similar and easy to use. This was it. I didnât like the ones you shove in your bra, even though that was convenient for on the go. You can also bring this wherever youâre going, itâll just be a tad bulkier than what you can shove in your bra and Iâm okay with that since itâs more comfortable for me.
Efficient and convenient breast pump
I was previously using the cups by Medela, however, I find this breast pump to be more efficient. Itâs also easier to clean than my avent breast pump. The only problem I have with this pump is that there is no cover for the flanges like the Avent pump. I place it in the fridge in between my pumps, I use a beeswax wrap to cover them right now.

I’ve been using this for 2 months now after getting suckered in by the Medela brand name, and my verdict is – don’t waste your money on this if you plan to pump any significant amount. So overpriced compared to better options available on the market.Pros:- Medela is readily available in Canada so you can easily find replacements and such & it’s fast and easy to get.- the pump itself is lightweight & portable (sorta, see cons below).Cons:- pump is too awkwardly shaped to fit into pockets and doesnt have a clip to clip onto clothes, so it’s not actually that portable. Plus the tubing comes out super easily.- tubing kinks easily, stopping the suction- tubing gets disconnected easily, which isn’t ideal if you have a wriggly baby on your lap- the flanges/cups are opaque, so you can’t see what’s happening with your letdown, which makes it hard to optimize expression vs letdown mode and massage, etc.- the pump is pretty loud if you turn up the suction- Medela has finally learned to include 21mm flanges but a lot of women are even smaller than that. Would be nice to have even more options for flange size as it is crucial to emptying properly- No timer on the pump, so you have to use the stupid app which always takes forever to connectI suggest looking into American pump brand options like Pumpable Genie or Baby Buddha or Spectra.If you need replacement parts for this pump, or conversion parts for diff pumps, look into the MayMom brand on Amazon as it’s much cheaper than Medela.

The Medela Swing Maxi is a hands-free breast pump which has been designed for comfort and ease of use.The unit is compact, light weight, yet quite powerful. It is portable and easy to take along with you as needed, so you will have it available whenever you need it and wherever you happen to be at the time. The pump has a rechargeable battery making it versatile, as long as it has battery charge, you do not need to plug it into an outlet in order to operate it. The internal battery charges using a USB cable and adapter which are included, allowing you to charge the unit without needing any additional components of your own.The breast pump has an iconic Medela yellow colour and you can certainly tell the attention to detail that has been applied on all of the components. It is well built and designed to last for a long time and the rubber exterior should be able to sustain some bumps and even drops.The hands- free design allows you to pump while performing other tasks. There is a lanyard strap that allows you to wear the pump as you would a handbag. The base is puck-like, and reminds me a bit of a larger home assistant device. The main area is white and the buttons are yellow made from rubber. There is a USB port on the back for charging purposes.One of the nice things about this unit is that it easily comes apart for cleaning purposes and there are only 3 parts to clean.The Medela brand is well known for its quality and design aspects and it does not disappoint. Llevo dos meses usándolo y todo al 100 con este equipo. Es muy práctico y logro extraerme hasta 3 onzas por sesión. Tuve que comprarme otras copas porque las que trae el equipo me quedaron chicas, pero me encantó su calidad.
I have 14 pumps…. this medela in my number 1 choice every time! I even bought a second set as a back up I highly recommend this medela pump! I don’t need inserts with it but if I use inserts I use the nursi luna inserts sometimes. It’s not a strong pull so it doesn’t hurt but it gets the most out and I always feel empty after using this pump
I purchased this for a road trip and it was awesome. I definitely recommend this pump. Itâs not as strong as my plug in pump but itâs still effective, just takes a little longer.
