It fits and works well!
Iâm not sure if there was a chance in the product from the first reviews saying that it doesnât fit and now, but the flange I got fits perfectly and it is visibly and authentic 27mm flange from Medela for the hands-free collection cups. The reviews saying that it does fit helped me, so I am leaving another encouraging review for the mammas that need 27mm. My output is better than with the 24mm that the collection cups came with.
Do not buy this it is not compatible
I shouldâve listened to the other reviews this product is not compatible. This product does not fit in the collection cups. Do not buy this.

These did not work for me. The Medela manual suggests different sizes based on self measurement. In reality, you should really see a professional lactation consultant to ensure itâs the right fit.
Broken in 10 days
Compared to the 21mm and 24mm shields provided in the original box of the breast pump, this 27mm was too tight and hard to insert/remove from the cup. Consequently, it broke in 10 days of usage. That’s really frustrating also because there are no other equivalents to buy but this one.
Does not fit Freestyle pump
Absolutely does not fit the Freestyle pump and cannot be returned. It’s not even the right shape…

El empaque llegó un poco maltaratado como si ya hubiera sido abierto pero las copas 27 mm si son compatibles, le quedan perfecto. Las copas anteriores que tenÃan eran 24 y en menos de una semana de uso se rompieron; es una lástima pues al ser una marca no económica me decepciona que con tan poco uso se hayan cuarteado

Buyer beware as it does not fit with my Handfree pump! Compared to 24mm supplied with the pump on the right, the shape and attaching mechanism are totally different. It seems there are 2 different part number for shield and the cup. Madela should have mentioned this on the product description
