Work great
These were purchased as back up because I got tired of constantly washing my pump parts. They fit perfectly and work very well. The oval shape is also great and fits the breast well. These are very easy to clean with soap and water and then can be sterilized either by boiling or in a sterilizer machine.

More comfortable than the original rigid plastic shield
I was a bit hesitant to purchase these shields at first after having read a number of negative reviews, including complaints that the tunnel is too short. Luckily these work well for me. The tunnel is a couple of centimetres shorter than the original breast shield. If your nipples are long, this might not work for you. The new breast shield does sit more comfortably against my skin since it is softer. At first I thought it didn’t create as good a suction as the old shield, but I do not think that is true. I’m not sure it made pumping any faster than the old shields, but it was better at extracting breast milk. With the old shields I can usually get a few more drops using hand expression afterwards, but not with these shields. It seemed to have extracted every last drop. I am pleased with the new design, and plans to buy another pair when these wear out.

Perfect replacement flange size
Love all the medela products! This is a prefect replacement I got for the online order. Medela flange size is a bit expensive for sure but the quality is great. I am going to order this every 3 months. I would say go for it.
This is so many xh more comfy than the regular plastic one I had. The rim makes a difference for comfort
