  1. A challenging build, but is it worth the effort?
I’ve been a fan of building blocks since I was a kid, and when I saw the challenge of this micro-block set, I had to give it a go. The Titanic is an iconic ship, and I was intrigued to see how this set would interpret it.The first thing that struck me was the size of the blocks—they’re tiny! As the name suggests, these are micro-blocks, and they are super small. I wasn’t prepared for just how minute they are, and it’s definitely a challenge to work with such delicate pieces. The instructions are also quite compact, so you need to take your time and make sure you’re placing those first blocks correctly; it’s all about precision. The build is fun, but it’s not without its frustrations. There are 19 steps in total, and I found the last few to be the most challenging. The pieces are as small as they can get, and my fingers didn’t fit into some of the spaces, so I had to use tweezers to complete those parts. It made the process slow and a little tedious. Additionally, the building techniques used earlier on didn’t always support the structure, and the deck would collapse in on itself as I tried to place new pieces.Despite these challenges, I’m glad I finished the build, and the final product looks impressive. It’s a challenging set, and I’d recommend it with a warning; be prepared for some frustrating moments, but also know that it’s a very doable build, and the end result is great.Would I recommend this set? Yes, but with a cautionary tale—it’s not for the faint-hearted or those without delicate fingers and patience. It’s a fun activity, but it will test your skills, and you might need to enlist the help of some tweezers!A challenging build, but one that offers a sense of satisfaction once completed. A unique take on a famous ship that will test your building skills to the limit.

  2. “Don’t let go, Jack”
I’m writing this review while in the middle of building the set. So far, I think I’ve gotten enough of an impression to report on. I’ll post photos of the finished product, once it’s complete. The pieces are all much better quality than the typical mini pieces sets I’ve built before. They’re ABS and therefore sturdy and nice and opaque. The set is really long! Much longer than I expected, although the scale means that it’s not a tall set. Building it takes time and a bit of frustration, as the pieces are quite small and sometimes take a bit of fiddling with adult fingers to set firmly. It’s a nice set, and it will take a long time to build, so I’m going to go ahead and recommend it.

  3. Challenging, but mostly due to the size of the bricks.
5 out of 5 Stars (4.8)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐[TL;DR][QUALITY] (5/5)[VALUE] (5/5)[EASE OF USE] (4/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5)[PACKAGING] (5/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]This is a terrific brick puzzle featuring the ‘Heroic Titanic’, and the ‘Villainous Iceberg’.Based on the size of the bricks, this will be a bit more challenging for us to complete than that of standard sized bricks. The size is difficult to manage for those of us with “Hulk Hands”. I need to employ the use of tweezers to handle some of the bricks. If you have issues with hand dexterity, be prepared for minor challenges. The set itself is wonderfully made, and the pieces seem to fit as they should. My Wife and I are enjoying putting this together and the challenge is just enough to keep us interested and has not ventured into the abandon ship territory.Recommended for brick building puzzle lovers. Flip a coin on who gets to build the iceberg. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

  4. Great micro mini blocks model
This is not my first Micro Mini Blocks set, so I was not taken by surprise by the size of the blocks. They are very similar to the more well known brand name bricks that are, of course, larger. They fit together the same way, so it’s a familiar experience. The challenges are a bit different. Because the pieces are so small, they are easier to lose. They are also a bit more challenging to get a tight fit, which gets more important the further you get into the project. My daughter and I love to do puzzles and lego together. Our process for both is fairly similar. We use a very large puzzle board that I have for doing puzzles. It has several trays that slide into it for sorting pieces. This also works great for mini blocks! The instructions are fine, but the size of the bricks vs. the size of the project can make them a bit dizzying at times. We’ve started this one, but it’s going to take us a while. We’re enjoying it very much.

  5. This is my first set of micro building bloks that I’ve ever built. I have a ton of Lego, Mega, and even some third party knock-off blocks. So, I am experienced building a variety of sets. This was the first set I think I’ve ever built that had instructions building up, vertically, one layer at a time. Because of how it was laid out, I found myself making mistakes where I started lining up pieces one stud off and had to unbuild about a half a layer. I did this several times throughout the building process. So, I would not recommend this for builders under 13 years of age, even though their hands can probably handle the pieces easier.I built this in two sittings, each taking about 3-4 hours. Each time my hands started cramping pretty bad. Unlike Lego or Mega, the pieces aren’t sorted into numbered bags. So, you’ll have to open them all at once. Thankfully the piece types are sorted by bag and there aren’t too many similar pieces in each bag. That is, for example, the four stud length yellow bricks aren’t in the same bag as the three stud length yellow bricks. So, it isn’t the worst experience to get them sorted. When the build was all done, I had a decent amount of pieces left over. So, I added some extra ice to the water and helped secure the first plate with the iceberg to the rest of the build. (It isn’t connected by many studs and is the weakest point in the whole model.) And, I had enough pieces I managed to make my wife a little Pikachu bust with a display stand as an extra build.Once it is all built, it is pretty impressive and reasonably solid. The instructions are okay as long as you are careful about lining each layer up properly. As a display model it looks good. With approximately a 6-8 hour build time without rushing, it takes up enough time to feel to like you earned the final model without being depressingly long.It takes a good amount of shelf space length wise. So, you might want to plan out where you are going to put it when it is all done. The ship is not designed to be broken into segments; you would have to fully disassemble it to break it up. However, you could remove the first plate with the iceberg, if you were so inclined.

  6. This set is well packaged and the tools inside are super helpful with how small the blocks are. I felt like instructions were a bit difficult to follow and some of the pieces had to be forced together. There were extras for most of the blocks so I wasn’t as concerned about whether or not I had all the pieces. Once I finished assembly, it looks exactly like the picture. It was a bit difficult to assemble, but lots of fun.

  7. I look forward to this build. I’m find the history of the Titanic interesting. This Titanic ship build is unique and will be challenging with 1860 pcs.The technology they use to research the Titanic is fascinating, discovering new facts about the Titanic’ and it’s wreckage.

  8. All the pieces were there plus extra. You will need a tweezers to grab some of the smaller pieces. It was fun to build and came out great.

  9. The Emeetlinn Titanic Model Micro Mini Blocks Set is fun and challenging with the smaller blocks. It will no doubt bring several hours of “challenging” fun here. What I loved about the kit was 3 fold, First, it was 1860 pieces – far worth its price and beyond considering other kits that cost 3 times as much and you may only get 800 pieces. 2nd, It’s micro, which is a new experience for me. For as many pieces as the kit is I can still find a nice place to display it, and lastly, it’s the Titanic, I mean how ironic is that?Overall, I am very happy with the Emeetlinn Titanic Model Micro Mini Blocks Set. If you enjoy putting these kinds of kits together, I know you will want to add this one to your collection.
