Smaller than expected
Itâs a beautiful mat, but a lot smaller than expected for the price paid. I got the 36 pieces one thinking it would cover my sonâs small activity area, but alas it didnât. I am going to be returning to get a different set that will cover my space
FILTHY, DISGUSTING, small, and strange tile variety
Bought double pack. Strangely 6 of the 36 tiles were all grey, which doesnât really match the rest of the tiles. (See attached pic)Tiles much smaller when put together than the 12âx12â per tile suggests, as you have to remove the sidesBUT BIGGEST PROBLEM! Despite tiles arriving wrapped in plastic, they were FILTHY! Washed tiles once with cloth and clear water, and the water was BLACK – then cleaned out water and washed again with fresh batch – the picture above is how dirty fingers and water were after SECOND (!?!) cleaning!For a product which boasts about how âsafeâ it is for children, that is ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!
9 tiles not 36
I received 9 tiles today. I paid $85 for 9 tiles when the item said 36 tiles.
We got a set of 16 at first and loved them so once my baby started crawling we bought the bigger pack to add to it! They hold their shape well as weâve had the first 16 for about 6 months already and have no issues. Theyâre generally easy to clean though I do take them apart completely occasionally and wipe them down top to bottom, since they are on the floor and reasonably that takes some time. Theyâre lightweight enough to move around easily, way lighter than a rug, but they somehow stay in place pretty well like a rug would so you donât have to worry about them sliding. I like that the colors arenât a color overload because it fits well in our living room without making it look like a daycare & also allows the toys themselves to stand out instead of the playmat. Over all very easy to put together and not a bad price by any means. We will be buying more to expand the safe space where he can learn to walk without fear of him hitting his head on the hard floors.
Love this for my 8 month old! I love the design and colors of it. Easy to put together and easy to clean which is a big plus! Itâs the perfect amount of thickness and for the price, I feel itâs unbeatable for the quality!
Good value for money. The pieces fit perfectly thereâs plenty of straight edge pieces so you can arrange the mats in a variety of ways. The colors are really nice and the mat stays pretty clean with minimal cleaning needed.The only problem is that the mat is quite thin. Itâs ok for a small baby, but i just feel it should be thicker to be more comfortable for kids rolling around.
Update: customer service contacted me to explain they recently changed their product size which is why the 16 piece I ordered a few months couldnât connect with the 36 piece one I just got. They assured me this would not be a problem anymore and refunded my purchase while allowing me to keep the 36 piece so I could purchase a new 16 piece to match it.Nice product. I think itâs too expensive but when I needed more after I bought the 16 piece I purchased the 36 piece (at a cringeworthy price) and they are slightly different sizes despite product description claiming both the 16 piece and the 36 piece are 12×12. They do not line up correctly and canât connect with each other. Not to mention that even if they could connect it wouldnât be on the textured side. The pieces align reversely when u try and connect the textured side of the 16 piece to the textured side of the 36 piece. Again doesnât matter because they are different sizes. Actually glad I have a reason to get my money back. $60 for 36 pieces is too much anyway.
We needed some mats to put under my daughters indoor jungle gym that were sturdy enough to not fall apart when she runs and plays in the room but soft enough to protect her is she falls. These fit the brief and the fun colors look great in her play room. Great price for these type of mats as well, especially since they are made of non-toxic materials
