I debated before having my baby whether or not I should get this. It wasnât until my first two weeks were over that I finally cracked and bought it. The heating pad is great, especially when your breasts are still getting used to the change and are sore. I had a few boxes of the disposable pads before, but I recently switched over to a cup that will catch any milk throughout the day. I would recommend that because it is reusable and I found that I havenât been going through so many pads with it.
The massager is perfect, I even use it while nursing my baby. I have boiled and microwaved the hot/cold pack and they work well, only thing is I wish they were bigger like for chesty women! I have to use both on one boob at a time and just rotate them every so many minutes. The nursing pads are very absorbent and come clean very easly in the wash.
I just had my daughter on July 23, 2024, and this was a game changer! I had plugged ducts because I produce so much milk, but as soon as I used this, you could see the stream change in the pump! I love that you can use it flat or use either end, and the heat function works great as well. The nursing pads are thin and don’t show through even a thin cotton sports bra with a white cotton tee over it. I didn’t even realize until today that I actually purchased an entire box of the Mom Cozy brand nursing pads that I have yet to open, so when I fell in love with the nursing pads from this kit, I was so happy to see I already have an entire box. They soak up a great amount of fluid and still stay thin as well. I woke up in the hospital this past week with the entire front of my shirt soaked ð©, so these have been great, and they’re MUCH THINNER than the ones the hospital gave me.
I bought this in anticipation for mastitis. I’ve only used it for the hot compress in the microwave. I’ve heated it in the recommended settings, and even with the cover, it is too hot after I’ve let it cool off for 3 minutes. Works well. I used 30 seconds instead and it was still burning me.Massager works once you get it turned on, which is a pain as I have to hold down the power button.
The massager was a life saver when I had clogs. The nursing pads are the best brand ive tried!
