Strong suction, convenient controls, and wonderfully QUIET.
I’ve heard so many good things about this model that I had to get it for my sister. Obviously I couldn’t use it myself, but the feedback I got from her echoed so many other people who also have it.First thing is that the nipple fitting guide was extremely helpful for choosing the right insert. I was told that it was possible to reduce the suction by choosing a slightly longer insert, as long as the areola wasn’t being pulled in during each draw. Unfortunately, the inserts are also dedicated so you can’t swap them with other pumps. But there are so many that you can really dial in the fit.As for weight, it’s incredibly light both in the hands and to wear. The profile is maybe a tad larger than some other pumps in the bra, but the performance is apparently worth it. The suction I heard is EXCELLENT and level 9 would likely be overkill for most. Pumping one side at a time is also possible as long as you seal off the second tube. The sis mentioned nothing about leakage, so the seals around the flanges are GOOD, as long as you put them on properly. I did hear however that you need to be careful when bending over, either to pick something up or looking into cabinets, just to make sure the seal around the nipple is maintained.Getting to the controls, the remote (if you can call it that) actually has a clip on the back in case you want to attach it to your belt while you’re up and about, and the timer is a fantastic feature if you’re constantly busy (and who isn’t these days). It doesn’t come with an app (which I think is better) so everything is done on the remote with no lag since it’s not wireless.But the thing I kept hearing from her is just how amazingly quiet and discrete the pump is. There are different modes depending on what kind of suction you need; but compared with the pumps she’s used in the past, it’s easily the quietest. And most convenient. And one of the most powerful. You can see where I’m going with this. Yeah, it’s good.As for cleaning, it’s about the same as most models out there and comes with the caps so you can seal the reservoirs if you want to clean them at a later time. Overall though, besides the lack of an auto-shutoff when the reservoirs are getting full and the slightly longer time it takes to get the same volume compared with a plug-in pump, all I got was good feedback. Excellent feedback in fact. Seems like this model is a real winner. Full marks.
Great Upgrade Over The Previous Model
We have been using MomCozy for over a year now, the V2 models really are a great improvement over the originals.The are now extremely light, which makes it a lot easer to get sealed to be able to use properly. I personally really like that they removed the battery from the pumps themselves and resorted over to having the battery be a handheld stick/controller.This made controlling the pump a lot easier, and not having a adjustment in speed or pump style break the seal and have you readjust completely.Charging was a breeze now as well, since you no longer have this big clunky battery to plug in, nor do you have two.I really liked the tear drop like shape of these pumps, it seemed more natural and again a lot easier to get a good seal when using them.These did come with both the measuring tool, but also 4 different size in flanges. I was happy to see this as we were able to get the size we actually needed to be successful using this pump.Cleaning/disassembly was extremely easy, the face popped right off, then allowed you to pull about the other components and get everything washed.Volume wise they hold a lot, we had no leakage what so ever when using it and the waste was very small. We’re talking about 0.001 of an OZ being left over in the container when draining it.Overall these are a great improvement in my opinion compared to their first version, keeping in mind I found their first version a very acceptable and good pump as well. This is a pump I could recommend to first time pumpers, as its very easy to use, the settings are straight forward, getting a seal is a lot more manageable with the light size of these, and the multiple flanges will make your success rate a lot higher.
Excellent seal and great suction with solid production
Im a HUGE fan of how comfortable these momcozy fit, ive used a couple of their other pumps and this one seems to have the best seal on it, even when im running around doing mom things it hardly eer looses suction and if it does its only for a second or two, it doesnt leak and it keeps pumping.I played with the different modes to see which felt the most natural and produced the most.I must say however… The suction levels get WILD strong at around 4-5, I almost couldnt imagine using this above a 6 suction level.The quality is typical momcozy, its very well made, they use quality materials, not the cheap thin stuff.The silicone is food safe and BPA free, I also LOVE LOVE LOVE how quick it comes apart and how easy it is to clean, considering how often its used and how many other mom things I have to do, saving a couple minutes here and there with cleaning makes a big difference.Very happy with it, would order again
