  1. Must-have montessori toy for dino lovers!
I seriously can’t get enough of the Montessori toy selection on Amazon lately!I am an SLP student who is always looking for fun, themed toys and this is the latest addition to my toy inventory that I am super happy about!More specifically, what I love about this toy is:- Came as advertised, with the exact amount of elements included (see picture with back of box)- Dinosaurs are super cute (especially the little smiles!!) and they, as well as the blocks, come in different colours / sizes, which provides great language development opportunities.- I purposely got this product as opposed to other ones of similar nature due to the challenge cards. These are a nice addition for older students and for working on following directions and spatial concepts! This is also a good way to keep the toy engaging, once students and children have gotten used to playing with the dinosaurs and the planks!- Comes with a carrying case which is a must for me lately when I am getting items off Amazon – it keeps my toys tidy and makes it super easy to carry around between my two workplaces and home.- Durable quality of the items – the blocks and dinosaurs are smooth to the touch and the wood makes me confident that these will be long lasting toys.Lastly, while I agree with the age range stated in the description, I would add that this could be used with 5 to 8 year olds as well, given the challenge cards! The challenge cards might be a bit harder for the 2 and 3 year olds, so this is something to keep in mind when purchasing.Overall, I would recommend this toy to parents, educators and fellow speech and language pathologists who are looking to create fun learning environments for their children, especially those who love dinosaurs!I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine Voices program in exchange for my honest review.

  2. Great value and gift item
This toy is an absolute gem for toddlers, combining fun, education, and great value! • Educational & Engaging: The stacking, sorting, and balancing activities help kids develop spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills while having fun. The challenge cards add multi-level learning for extended play. • Safe & Durable: The wooden pieces are sturdy, smooth, and coated with non-toxic, food-grade paint—perfectly safe for little hands and built to last. • Perfect for Parent-Child Interaction: This toy encourages quality bonding time while exploring balancing challenges together, creating fun and meaningful moments. • Rich Set: The set includes 9 dinosaur blocks, 10 geometric shapes, wooden planks, challenge cards, and a storage bag, ensuring plenty of variety to keep kids entertained. • Great Value: At $19.98 after a 33% discount, this toy is a steal for the quality and educational benefits it provides.Overall, this is an excellent gift for toddlers and preschoolers. Fun, educational, and affordable—highly recommended!

  3. Perfect for young dinosaur lovers!
My son, who is autistic and obsessed with dinosaurs, has been loving playing with this toy and attempting to balance the dinosaurs. It has been great for his gross motor skills and the pride on his face when he gets the dinosaurs to balance the way the card shows him makes me so happy that he has found something he enjoys.

  4. Toy or game? Depends on the child.
I ordered this for when the grandchildren come over to visit. Our oldest grandchild is quite active, and not yet 4, so I don’t see him wanting to play this as a game at this stage. I used one of the cards to see how hard it might be to play with, and while I could set this up on carpet, I would have this on the hardwood floor because a table with a bit of a wobble would probably topple the game. But he loves dinosaurs, so I know he will play with them somehow until he would be interested in playing with the cards. I am encouraged to see a review that children in kindergarten love playing this as a game. I am hopeful that this will become a game we can play together. As for the product, the dinosaurs are well sanded, with no rough spots to catch clothing or get slivers. The sticks have some rough spots. The painting is well done.

  5. My 4 yr old grandson loved this and was able to follow the card pictures with very little help.It even had challenging ones he can grow into. He would try and try until he made it perfectly. It was wooden so will last through the ages.

  6. My boy loves stacking, got him these for xmas, always check things before he gets them and these look fun, packaged well and stack really great, fun colours. Dinosaurs might be a close watch as he’s teething but overall look great and stack well

  7. Played for hours.

  8. Good toy, not easy definitely suitable for age 3 upwards

  9. This is a decent stacking set for motor skill development for preschool age kids. Includes wooden dinosaurs and different shaped blocks, what look like large popsicle sticks, and a stack of cards with different configurations for how to stack these items. Comes with a cheap, white storage bag for all the pieces, but we’ll likely use the box it all came in.The pieces seem like pretty good quality and should hold up to regular preschooler use. The wood is smooth and the pieces are large enough for small hands to manipulate. I think this would be better suited to slightly older kids (4+), as the card examples show some really advanced stacking with only a couple of the options shown being suitable for my 3 year old to try on his own.Overall, this set helps kids with their fine motor skill development in a fun way, and also helps them learn how to follow instructions with the card examples provided. Hoping our little guy will get more use of out of this set with some practice.
