We went through so many baby monitors and never found one that worked for us. We live in and old house with brick and plaster walls and the signal of many monitors would not travel well. This monitor is the only one that works well in our house. We donât loose signal as often, super easy to connect and pair to our WiFi, and the app is easy to use. The monitor is pretty thick and clunky but it works well with kids dropping it every once in a while. Itâs not perfect but itâs the best one we have used.

Absolute worst baby monitor. I’ve owned for less than 8 months and the screen has gone fuzzy. The monitor also frequently disconnects less that 20 feet away from the camera almost every night at about 3:30 am and starts beeping and wakes me up. Last night it did it and I turned it off. In order to reconnect it I have to put it next to the camera to pick up the signal again. I do this all the time every night, and sometimes during the day when I’m down stairs and it disconnects and I have to bring it upstairs to fix it. Well, last night I didn’t get up to reconnect it. It figures that that night my mother got out of bed and fell in her bed room and was on the floor for 3 hours before I found her in the morning. Thankfully she was ok. Also, the monitor only lasts about 8 hours on battery, the speakers have static and crackle all the time and I could never get the wifi working, and it came with 2 cameras but I could only get one of them to connect. I just ordered a Yonvim monitor that has 4.4 out of 5 stars and is 52% off for Black Friday. Hopefully it will be better.
I purchased this for my 93 yr-old aunt who is in a memory care facility. She forgets that she cannot walk on her own and has fallen several times within a year, mostly at night. This works perfectly. The monitor is portable and the nurses can place it in the office or take w/them. They can hear, see her and able to be in her room before she gets up. They can also speak to her, if needed. The camera can be operated from the monitor changing the viewing area and zooming in/out. It gives a clear picture and has night vision. There is an app that can be downloaded to a cell phone to take if they are out of the office area or for another care provider to use This is a life-saver, I believe.
Purchased this product on Feb 20th 2024 and started using it in June 2024. The product worked fine for one month when it was only paired Camera and Monitor. Coincidently or not, when I paired the camera on wi-fi to be able to see the video via Nursery App, the camera and monitor started to have difficulty to connect. I had to perform several attempts powering on/off camera and monitor to be able to connect. Sometimes the Impression I had was that I had to power off/on the camera, them power off/on the monitor with my Nursery app oppened to be able to connect Camera & Monitor. I contacted Motorola Support (Brazil) last September 7th who told me that this was likely a Hardware propblem and gave me a link for initiating a request. I kept using the Camera + Monitor for another months and last November 5th it popped up a Firmware upgrade message on the monitor, I accepted it which made the camera stop working. I plug on power source and there’s no response from camera. It won’t turn ON again. I opened another request on Motorola Brazil who told me they don’t have international warranty and I need to claim warranty via Amazon.com. Very bad quality of the product, who failed with less than 5 months usage and very bad support from Motorola. Would never purchase this brand again and do not recommend!
