Reviews

  1. This is a terrible monitor. The picture quality is poor and there is a long delay when you try to pan. After six months of use the cord to the camera is always getting dislodged and there is something wrong internally so now it cannot connect to wifi. For such an expensive product I expect more.Furthermore, the battery life on the monitor itself is terrible. It only has three bars and quickly goes to one bar after one hour of continuous picture. Other equivalent priced cameras have much better battery life. Do not waste your money. We are purchasing an Infant Optics monitor instead.

  2. The range and the image are Very good but the monitor batery only last 3 hours

  3. I did my best to not completely get this monitor, but it sure was difficult. The picture quality was extremely fuzzy – for the “update” of the previous version, it lacks a lot. The prior model is still kicking and has better picture in my first child’s room. Sad to say that last night, after less than 5 months, the monitor itself just wouldn’t turn on. The camera is still functional but terrible picture. Really upset the return window has closed as I want nothing more to do with this monitor. I’m going to have to get another altogether, never getting a Motorola one again. This was extremely disappointing.

  4. Not too happy at the moment. Recently bought this camera because it’s one of the few baby monitors that is WiFi capable AND comes with a monitor for local viewing without WiFi. No idea why this concept isn’t more popular yet.Anyway.. I have had a few problems when streaming from my phone, saying the camera is offline when it’s not (I’ll even still get “motion detected” notifications). Most recently, I went to stream on my phone tonight and the picture was completely messed up (picture attached). I have tried turning it on and off again, resetting the app, and it’s still not working. Very frustrated. Will update if I find a fix.

  5. We bought this camera when we had our son (our first) it came with two cameras and a monitor. It also has the Hubble app so that we could check the cameras from our phones. We then bought this set to add the third camera for our little girl and replace the monitor (I will explain) but first….The cameras:They have great night visions. Perfect picture even in the darkest of rooms. Even better in daytime. One in our sons room one in our daughters and one in the playroom. I have no complaints about the cameras they are great. The monitor:The monitor function is pretty standard I think. Pan left right and up down volume control, switch between cameras and it does all these things well. It plays music and has a talk function if you need to talk to your little one…or scare your wife. It is a nice monitor. However, the battery is not the best. Not the worst either but plan on charging. And that’s my biggest complaint. As I mentioned we had to replace the monitor for our second child. The mini usb charging port on the first one got loose and got bad quick. We had to prop something underneath it and have it leaning back just to get it to work and eventually it didn’t work at all. The charging ports like this one have this problem often in my opinion. The new one is ok so far but it only 8 months old or so. We shall see.The app:Is really not great. Ok so it does everything the monitor does and gives you the ability to record video if you kid does something cool or take pics but it is incredibly buggy. It drops wifi and loses cameras often, it lags constantly sometimes ruining the aforementioned cute video opportunities, and is just generally not great. That said the monitor function makes up for it and the cameras are so good that I would still recommend this set to a friend. And the app is free so what do you want for nothin?!?
