So many cons! Mainly the night camera quality so poor we gave up on it.
Pros(ish) – Day camera quality is good with app but the parent unit is on par with much cheaper units. The app is ok however notifications dont always come through and it often disconnects (my wifi is fine nothing else has this issue). Using this without the parent unit isnt really an option but convenient to be able to check in with the app when its working.Cons – The night camera is so terrible though we are basically throwing it away and going with a much cheaper indoor security camera from ring and an audio only monitor. No pan capability also is terrible. It also came with no mounting hardware which is really ridiculous.Seller was on par with amazon standards.
Omg let me just say we ha e had probably 10-20 different monitors and I am so so sick to death of trying them. Finally we tried this one and thank god we did. This one DOES connect to WiFi and you CAN use hubble and it DOES stay connected and we have 4 cameras connected now and it still works perfect. I truly don’t understand why the newer and double price models even exist when they are a pile of trash and can’t do (even though the box says they can) have of what this set can do.I so highly recommend it to any parent. Love this monitor.

After reading reviews I was so nervous to order this but tried it anyway. IT IS AMAZING! The picture quality and battery life are better than any other monitor Iâve looked at. Not to mention you can download the free app and check the camera when youâre not home. I had a summer infant monitor previously and it would die so fast and the second camera was $$$ .. I highly recommend this monitor. We have never dropped service or lost connection as some of the reviews stated, we always have 5 bars and we have a 1900 sq ft house and the kids rooms are the furthest from the camera. BUY IT!
We bought this for our new baby, and the cameras and parent unit work pretty well together. Picture quality is good, the lullaby function is nice, and audio quality is good. However, the WiFi functionality on the camera (which is the main reason we bought these ones) is very poor. The quality of the WiFi chip itself is low. My WiFi AP shows a really poor connection (even close to the AP) and a ton of junk data/requests coming from it. More importantly, there is a really serious lack of security on the Motorola Hubble website side. They do not allow any 2-factor auth (like an SMS code), there is no login history, and if you email their support to ask about security, you’re lucky to get a real answer. 2-factor auth is a BASIC security option nowadays, and a login or camera history would a good way to make sure your account is secure. However, Hubble offers neither of these. We had a couple incidents where we thought someone was logged into the camera remotely through the WiFi / Hubble website, and even after contacting Hubble support, there’s absolutely no way to know if our account was secure or not. “Change your password” is the only thing they can offer. It’s a complete joke. We’ve disconnected our cameras from the WiFi since we weren’t comfortable with the security of them.
This monitor is pretty good but for the price, it’s starting to annoy me. It will randomly lose signal and there is no way to fix it other than going in my son’s room and unplugging the camera/pairing it again. Well, that’s not really an option in the middle of the night… I’d prefer not to wake him up. Also, when it does lose connection, the monitor screen beeps incredibly loud and won’t stop unless you turn the whole thing off. This monitor had everything I was looking for… split screen, wifi/remote access and a large screen. Does it work well most of the time, yes. Is it incredibly frustrating other times, yes. There are so many cameras out there with great reviews but they don’t have the monitor screen… and I don’t always want to pull up an app on my phone, especially at night. I like to be able to just glance over. I wish it functioned perfectly, as it should due to the high price. Can’t win them all, I guess?
