Great first cup!
Loved this cup to help teach baby how to use a straw. The weight definitely helps, and itâs very easy to clean. Not totally spill proof, but enough that water doesnât up everywhere immediately. Would recommend.
Great cup!
Itâs durable, holds a good amount of liquid for a babyâs meal, and the straw fit discourages spills.
Cute but leaks
My son loves this cup but ends up soaked. The water leaks out of the straw constantly.
Tiny learner cup
Great for simply teaching baby how to use a straw or open cup however not a good option as only a beverage cup as it is very tiny.
My grandson started using this cup when he was about 9 1/2 months old. It was really easy for him to figure out. It is not leak proof, but is a really good cup to teach babies how to drink out of something besides a bottle. The cup is made really well and itâs so easy to clean.
We bought first an open training cup, the tiny 2 oz one and our baby was happy with it. He learned very quickly how to drink from the little cup and also was using it a lot in unpleasant teasing time. The cup became one of his favorite teaser – lol, thanks to the cup thickness and super soft silicone it made of. The open cup was perfect for his little hands, but after a while 2 oz became not enough volume for him to drink and we decide to get bigger cup.Having excellent experience with the small cup, I decided to stick with Munchkin products and bought 4 oz Munchkin® Câest Silicone! Open Training Cup with Straw. It was the same great quality as the littlest open cup and the baby loves to use it. The only concerns are that baby learn very quickly not only how to use the straw to drink, but also how to pull out the straw to play with it and how to open the cup and actually baby is having a lot of fun doing so. We consider the cup not only as training cup but as well as a product stimulating baby’s development and skills, and see a huge progress on what baby can do using his little fingers. Also note that the cup is not exactly spill proof when dropped to the floor. It might be a little inconvenient for parents, but could be another learning curve for a baby.Overall we just love both Munchkin cups and highly recommend them. They are definitely high quality, nicely designed, very functional and just right for the little hands.
I love these cups so much , they are the perfect size for my sonâs little hands. He started using this when he was 10 months old and he is one now and still loves these cups the most. They are easy to clean and great quality.
The size of the cup is nice for tiny hands. Itâs really small so does hold a ton of water but it was the only way I could get my baby to drink water in the beginning. I do wish the straw was a little smaller but then it may be hard to clean. Overall I would recommend this. I used it for my baby around 5 months and he still uses it now at 9 months.
My daughter can still rip the lid off, but to be fair, sheâs very determined to disassemble anything she can. The cup itself is great. The lid stays on even after itâs thrown, dropped, tossed, etc. Easy to clean as well. Good buy, I recommend!
