no spills!
no spills and perfect for little just starting with a straw. 10/10. easy to clean as welledit as iâve used for a few months with my son; it leaks now. never been in the dishwasher. I thin overtime the seals just loosen, iâm not sure. but it does leak.
Great cup for elderly too
I actually got this cup for my 103-year-old bed bound mother who has motor skill issues and trouble seeing and often knocks over standard water bottles or Ensure bottles to the floor in her attempt to grab something to drink.I tested the product with water to begin with and tried turning it and dropping it and it didn’t leak. Yay! I also tried an Ensure drink in this bottle and it didn’t leak however, the fluid creeps up the straw as the fluid reaches room temperature and the pressure builds in the bottle so keep an eye on that and see if opening the bottle briefly will relieve the pressure by. I really like the the click sound whenever you close the container sort of like a gas cap to let you know that it has been closed correctly. I do find that sometimes it’s difficult to suck from the straw if the fluids been sitting for a while so I usually have to use the brush to clean out the straw at least once a day. Also, When you first get this cup if you find it’s difficult to suck from that’s because there’s a valve about a centimeter from the tip of the straw that is there to slow down the floor to Children’s mouths so they don’t choke. You can cut this off if you want to increase the flow. Overall the cup is great and we are buying two more for water and juice.
Good cups for water
These are great for littles learning to drink from a straw cup. The two handles make it very easy to hold. I would not say they are leak proof though. If the cup is left to sit, pressure builds up in the straw and the liquid comes out. The straw is a bit tricky to clean too, which is why we only use it for water.
Most garbage cup ever
This is the worst cup ever. Its so difficult to close properly and I bought another one from the store, thinking I had a faulty cup.. but its the worst and by the time I close it, thereâs leaked water all over me and the floor. Terrible design. I can say there are countless times where my baby is screaming in the background and Iâm trying to get him water but it wonât close and just kept spilling. If this cup belongs anywhere, itâs in the garbage. Iâm all wet from this cup while writing this and yes, Iâm angry about it.
Great cup, bought 3!
This cup has been great for my son! We inteoduced it around 11 months and it of all of our other cups that we had collected over the months! It really is spill proof (even when tossed on the floor which happens multiple times a day) and i love that it works from every angle! It does require a little more effort to suck up liquid compared to a typical straw but thats just because its so leak-proof. Its a little tricky to clean the straw well so i no longer use it for milk but thats moreso me just being lazy and not wanting to use the straw cleaner it came with
Functional with some drawbacks
Here’s my review of the product.Pros:* Easy to use – simply click the straw into place and you’re ready to go.* Convenient storage – the cup can be stacked with other similar cups, making it easy to store and organize.* Durable – the cup is made of a strong plastic material that withstands regular use and abuse.Cons:* The weight of the bottom can make it a bit tricky to pick up, especially for those with smaller hands, preventing excessive spills and mess.*The cup is not insulated, so it doesn’t keep drinks cold for an extended period of time.*Potential for leaks if not sealed correctly.*Another notable flaw is the complexity of assembly and disassembly, especially when cleaning. The multiple parts are tricky to maneuver and prone to trapping residues, posing hygiene concerns.
Love it
I am a new mom to twin girls and I used this cup for when they started solid foods to drink water from. (6 months old) They were able to learn how to use the draw very quickly. I really do like these cups, they come in fun colours, they donât leak at all, they close well so I can throw them into the diaper bag and not worry about leaking. They do take quite of bit of work to make the water come out which is great for small babies so they donât choke on the water. It is an easy transition from bottles to this cut. The weighted bottom makes it easy for them to always be drinking water and not sucking in air! Definitely recommend this product to all new parents with small children.
Impressed. Period.
Perfect for training 11 month old to drink on his own – better because he can decide how much he wants, angle is good for drinking instead of him raising his head and neck back to drink from normal baby bottle, and it encourages independence/confidence/tactile learning and all that jazz..Straw has valve inside it like a baby bottle, so my boy doesn’t get too much water when he drinks. The lid is attached…wow this is great because we loose lids to bottles while playing!Handles great for him grabbing it himself.Hold good volume, company kept in mind size and weight when full, he can hold it while full of water. That straw weight thingy…amazing, he’ll get water even if he’s wild rolling around and drinking water haha.No BPA Thankyou very much for that.Green is nice.Little hole under straw to let air out.Easy to clean – I run the hole darn thing under hot water after meals because it gets messy and it cleans up good.Straw is soft and hasn’t been damaged by lid closing over it, very pliant and snaps back. Good materials.I don’t know, I’m preaching this bottle to anyone who has babies/toddlers lol. Impressed.
A lot of reviews Iâve read seem to be user error. My 12 month old drinks from this cup very easily in almost any position and loves it. And after figuring out a few things, I think it is nearly perfect. Letâs clear up a few things other reviews have complained about, so you will love your new cup too.1. It leaks/bubbles out cold liquid when taken out of the fridge. -This is not a design flaw but just a physics reaction. Yes, if you take the cup from the fridge to room temp, the cold air inside the cup expands as it warms pushing out a bit of liquid from the straw. Very simple solution is to simply unscrew the top for a minute (maybe less!) so that as the air expands in room temp, and liquid isnât pushed up and out of the straw. Seriously, try it. Very simple solution once you realize why it is happening.2. The valve in the straw make is very difficult to drink out of. -I thought this at first as well. Please do not cut the valve out as other reviews have suggested. The valve is meant to be compressed from front to back (top to bottom) as toddler is drinking, and once compressed slightly, offers nearly no resistance to drinking. When not compressed, keeps your cup leak proof.3. Difficult to clean. -You can also compress this valve front to back, to insert cleaning brush provided and to allow water to rinse through it easily while cleaning. Knowing how to use the valve makes cleaning very simple.4. Not leak proof when turned upside down. -I think this has to do with improper straw and stopper placement. You must pull the straw through until it clicks into place and make sure the stopper connected to the straw is firmly placed over the air hole at the top of the lid. Then, no matter how my toddler carries it around, it never leaks when upside down. Also, make sure the lid is screwed on until the handles click over the bumps on the side to lock it on. It is easy to not screw the top on enough if you donât know it needs to click in place to lock.Iâm sure a few cup will be made with defects and this wonât fix everyoneâs problems, but I think a bit more knowledge of how to use the cup properly would solve most of the complaints listed about the cup. User error seems to be the biggest problem with these cups. The only minor draw back Iâve noticed is occasionally getting flicked with liquid when my son finishes drinking and flicks the straw out of his mouth at me. But I think that will get better with time.*Please donât let the negative reviews keep you from buying and loving this cup. Just take a minute to learn how to use it to its best potential and I think you will love this cup too!
My baby loves this bottle ⦠itâs my third for my little one â¦. No leakage and water can be drank from any angle . Worth every penny
Love these cups! We now have two. They do occasionally leak, but not often. We love that our baby can get milk from nearly any direction she holds the cups thanks to the weighted straw, and she adjusted to the straw very quickly. Handles are easy for her to grab as well, which has made this a great starter cup after bottles. Only complaint is that the straw is time-consuming to clean, and needs to be washed frequently if you use anything besides water in the cup.
