Better than silicone
I’ll admit, I was an early believer in the silicone plates for my little guy. They served us well for quite a few months, until I took a bite off his plate one day and was floored by the soapy taste and lingering food flavors. After switching to these hard plastic plates, I’ve had no issues at all. They wash well, no lingering smell or taste issues, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how the rubber bottoms keep them on his highchair tray. I was worried not having suction cups would be a deal breaker, but so far these have managed not to hit the floor. Wish I’d started with these right from the beginning of our solid food journey!
Sturdy Quality
These are my favourite and most-used dishes for my toddler. They have the perfect depth and width for whatever you’re offering and are very thick as well as dishwasher and microwave safe. Great quality and value.

Great pre-portioned plates for little ones but scratches easily in the dishwasher over time
Got the whole set in all four colours and additional cups too. I love how colourful they are but these vibrant bold colours aren’t for everyone. The plates and bowls themselves are very durable. My daughters have thrown it a few times so I can confirm.The only complaint I have is…they stain if you serve anything turmeric or red pasta sauces. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve washed them a lot and they’ve got some wear but it is still disappointing. They also aren’t scratch-proof. These aren’t deal-breakers for me because I like them a lot. Especially for their pre-portion size. It is just the right size for my younger children, you can easily fit like 3-4 oz of baby food in the larger portion with two extra portions to spare for snacks. There’s also some grip on the bottom of the plates and has a little weight to them for plastic plates (at least compared to ikea ones). Hope my review was helpful!
High quality toddler plates
EDIT: 3 years later and still using them! Do use bigger plates but have reached for these for certain dishes. These are great quality and value! Buy these and you wonât need to keep repurchasing, these last!Bought 2 sets for my son and daughter during Prime Day.Great stackable plates, easy to use and clean. Thicker material than most toddlers plates sold on the market. Iâm sure these can hold up if thrown or dropped opposed to Zac plates that Iâve gone through in the last month. The bowl could be a bit bigger but overall very happy with these. Highly recommend.

Love the plates! Havenât used the bowls yet. I knew these wouldnât have any suction power but I didnât order for that so it doesnât bother me. Super easy to clean and perfect size for my kiddo
Bought these to keep at my parents house for their toddler grandkids. They’re a nice step up from the silicon suction plates for toddlers who aren’t ready for real plates quite yet. I am a big fan of Munchkin products and these are no exception. They have pretty deep compartments – I can even get away with serving some soup in the long compartment. They’re good quality and go through the dishwasher fine.
